 Review of Illuminations @ EPCOT

This had to be one of the most pathetic fireworks display at Disney to date! Alright, sure, the globe and some fireworks were cool, but the whole thing could not be even closely compared to the "Wishes" show at the Magic Kingdom. Those are a sight to see. THOSE are a MUST-SEE.

Perhaps your problem is that you are looking at this with expectations of being simply a "fireworks display." It is not. It is a combination presentation of which fireworks is only a small part... in addition to the fire, lasers, fountains, music... And the centerpiece of this presentation is the Earth Globe--not fireworks. The fireworks are merely an enhancement, not the primary focus. If you simply want fireworks, then yes, go stand there and watch Wishes... it gives you fireworks and only fireworks, looks pretty, and doesnt require much thought about such boring concepts as the celebration of human & animal diversity or the theme of world unification. Enjoy. ^_^

You are a very mixed up person. You see, Wishes is good, but IllumiNations will surpass any LIGHT show you will ever see, fireworks or none. It shows a sense of us all coming together under the Spaceship Earth, and that, my friend, is awesome.

Illuminations is much more than a fireworks display it is a performance with a specific story. Watch and listen your appreciation of Illuminations should change.

Bob, saw the Stone Mountain laser show many years ago and it was great.
