The launch is definately nothing by todays standard, but it was running better on my last visit, hence this update. APPEARNCE-6 Not my thing at all, but nothing really bad. the paint and station still look good and placing it next to the road was good for space, just nothing exciting. CAPACITY-4 Just awful and the ride has lots of maintenance issues which really slow it down. Props to SF for having maintenance on hand most of the day. RIDE QUALITY-7 Smooth but just sort of slow. However, much better then my previous ride. FUN-5 I only rerode so my wife can get the credit. Just nothing that great in this day and age. It does bring back childhood memories of Tidal Wave. RERIDE-3 Not likely, but you never know. I really dont like this park so it is hard to imagine riding again. OVERALL-27 AVG-5.6 I will go 6 since my dislike of the park affects its rating.

This was probably my favorite ride at Kentucky Kingdom. I went on a super hot and dry day, and the woodies ran like crap. Had there been some rain recently, I may have liked the woodies more than Greezed Lightnin. While Im not a Schwartzkopf nut like some, I think his creations have held up well throughout the years. The only bad Schwartzkopf Ive ridden is Revolution. And that only sucks due to awful upkeep and the shoe-horned OTSRs.

I cant imagine liking this better than Chang. Twisted Twins I can see but no way on Thunder Run I dont care how bad it was running.

Thunder Run had a bad case of the Dinn shuffle when I rode it. As for Chang, I dont like stand ups, especially ones with several inversions like Chang. I liked the old King Cobra at KI, but thats gone.
