I grew up riding this old wooden coaster. It never fails to disappoint. While it is a bit bumpy, one has to realize that it was built in 1927, a time when a rough ride was highly accepted.(Remember, the Crystal Beach Cyclone was so rough that their was a nurse stationed on the platform to tend to injured riders!)A ride on this coaster is the following: the first drop is a 78 foot plunge all the way to the ground followed by a climb into a left fan curve, across a few bunny hills, into another fan turn this time to the right, leading into two low level hills, a flat turn to the right, over a final speedbump, and into the break-run. A classic ride which gets the job done.
