The rating here is devised when I compare this version to the far superior attraction in Disneyland, Anaheim. They seem to have cut out a whole third of the ride and, in doing so, diminished the great build-up to the storyline.

I wouldnt say that the one in Anaheim is far superior to the one in Florida, but it is definitely better.

What did they cut out in the MK one?

Yeah, I dont remember them being much different besides the lines.

Thats interesting. I never knew that the rides at Disneyland differed from their clones at the Magic Kingdom. Thats very odd.

DLs has another drop in it, but thats all that I know of.

Yeah, MKs line is better themed than DLs, while DLs ride is better themed than MKs. Also, DLs starts next to the Blue Bayou restuaurant, which I dont think the Magic Kingdom even has. And as for other rides there, Splash Mountain at DL has a bigger drop and only seats five, Space Mountain seats more than the one in Florida, and the layout of Big Thunder Mountain is different in DL.

I wanted to know what they cut out of the MK version of POTC that they have in the DL version.

Yeah, I dont remember much bieng different about the ride. Maybe its just that the one in DL seems better.

Are the Haunted Mansions in the two parks basically the same? (With the exception of the outside)

I believe they are the same.

Yeah, I remember that they were basically the same, while most of Disneys rides arent.

Just watched a special feature on the PotC film, and it showed almost the entire PotC (Disneyland) ride. It looks very different from the WDW version in the beginning of the ride. It looks a lot better too

Ive got to get that DVD, then. Ive never been to Disney land, only Magic Kingdom:-(
