These are like the best bumpercars in the world! If you ride other bumpercars you will realize how much better they are. These are classics.

I dont mind the rating, even if he gave it a one, but why is it nothing spiecal? A good review should explain why a person does or does not like the ride.

im kicking myself for not waiting in line to ride these. i also missed out on the flying eagles ride. next year at PPP, ill have to get to those two first

Yes, you should! The Skooters and the Flyers are of the Best anywhere, let alone Knoebels.

Oh, bb dg - please, PLEASE ride them next time youre at Knoebels!!! I think that the Skooters and Flyers are a huge reason why the park is so popular. In lines for both rides, I was dumbfounded by the sheer passion the patrons have for them - not much pointless, everyday chatter here. Rather, these folks were talking about the historic appeal of the Skooters, and the best steering methods for the Flyers. It was really a hoot. Hit both rides first, and dont be ashamed if you keep coming back for more.

Totally agree with adriahna. These, with the Phoenix and Twister, as well as some other various rides, are what makes Knoebels great.

Heck, lets be honest - EVERYTHING at Knoebels makes it great!!!

Youve hit the target with the arrow on that one.

As far as Im concerned, Knoebels should have its own anthem. All of us die-hard Knoebels fanatics could show up on every seasons opening day, and sing it together, like were in some kind of cult. But ah, Knoebels has that power, I think...

Im an Indiana boy who only found out about Knoebels because of the travel channel, and after one trip Id sing that song. Im going back around July 4th with my parents and there van so me and my wife can bring home cases of clear birch beer. I can hardly wait.

Ill have to start working on that anthem...give me a little time.

Yeah me too. Im a great song writer, abeit being only 12. Sorry to bring up an old topic, but what tune would you like it to be sung to, adriahna?
adriahna on 6/14/2004 9:37:29 PM said:
Geez...not sure. There must be a suitable one - any ideas, anyone? Im stumped.

I was thinking maybe the Star Spangled Banner? SpongeBob SquarePants theme song? I personally like the latter.
adriahna on 6/15/2004 4:31:14 PM said:
Hmm...the latter is a good choice, but Id have to go with the Star Spangled Banner, if only for its undeniable timelessness (which Knoebels has in full force). Or, how about God Bless America? That way we wouldnt be competing with the National Anthem, after all...
Knoebels on 6/15/2004 6:16:40 PM said:
Hmmm, GBA sounds like a very good choice. Nice one, adriahna! Ill get on it right away.
