Raptor is overrated, dont get me wrong, but get let me get one thing straight. Batman the Dark Knight at SFNE is better than Raptor?

Just got back from CP...Raptor is easily the most overrated ride in the park. Ill probably give it a 7 when I rate it. Its still better than a SLC though.

The ride isnt that bad for its age. Im surprised it isnt rougher.

It was very rough when I went. There was a lot of headbanging. The mid-course brakes didnt slow down the coaster one bit, and teh helixes and corkscrews at the end didnt do anything for me.

The only spot that bangs your head is the turn right before the final brakes. Which spots did you think were rough?
Danny on 7/22/2003 12:19:05 PM said:
I thought the two corkscrews were pretty rough. Again, I dont know how much they usually brake the coaster, but the brakes werent on AT ALL when I rode it, so it seemed very fast and intense. Thats usually a good thing, except the corkscrews were headbanging.

The brakes werent on when I visited the park this year either. Im trying to remember if they were on last year. I know a train got stuck in them last year.

Whoa, that would suck. I have tickets for two days at the park, and since my family & I were only there for one day, well probably be going back this weekend. Hopefully TTD will be open then. Ill ride Raptor again and see if I like it more.
