I took my kids on this last summer. It didnt really do anything for me. The effects and themeing were pretty dull. I gave it a extra point for being nice and cool after a hot day and they give you a free piece of chocolate as you exit.

What make s you think the themeing is dull? its a Factory ture. they could no longer let people into the reall factory so they created this dark ride. what other theme shoudl their be?

They could have used a lot more machinery and themeing and given it a more industrial look. The machine simulations were pretty dull. They could have made it much more exciting. Have you ever been in the line for Test Track at Epcot or Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion ? Thats the kind of heavier industrial themeing I visualise.

Or they could let us tour the real factory.

Red they at one point did let you tour the factory. they couldnt andle the amount of people that wanted to see it. so in turn tey created this dark ride. xDisney i havnt been on those rides so if you have photos it would help. I dont quite get what you want. they redid the out side to look like a factory. are you talking about noise because they machinery in a chocolate factory arnt very noisy. you dont hve robots and heavy machinery in a chocolate factory. its alot of Mixers and simple machins that pore the chocolate on or shape it.

The factory has to be huge since Hershey is the biggest chocolate producer in America. They will never let people tour the factory for safety reasons. People could put something in the chocolate or damage something. It was a good idea to build this simulation for the guests to see how chocolate is made.

And Agustus coudl fall into the Chocolate Pond and get sucked up the tub..... ops thats the movie. bu tit is the fame factory.

No the beginign of themovie Musical shows Hersheys ffactory. Nestly didnt buy the wanka name till later.

Even if that is the factory, you know it doesnt look like that inside for real.

good ! have to be carfull some times people will not think abotu what was posted and start talking. jsut wanted to make shore that wasnt the case.

Youd have to be an idiot to think thats what it looks like in a real chocolate factory.

Some peopel see the post ans resond to it before thinking it through. this can ccause problems this time.

ok! this ride is one of the best dark rides I have found. very few top it. its educational bast and still is entertaining.

Its educational and boring. Entertaining? Ive fallen asleep on the ride before. The themeing is so cheesy too. I think a 4 rating is rather high for it.
