I dont know why everybody hates this show--personally, I really enjoyed it! I thought the audio-animatronics were very well done and the film part of the show was extremely interesting. A great ride to escape from the crowds and the heat!

your rating say deferant. 5 is average. so a 6 is slighly above average. 10 is wellmore then avrage or great. god info it ssounds liek you enjoyed it. I dont remembr a movei of this one thos. bu tthen I havnt been in a wile.

Youre right...I shouldve given it a 7. Theres a movie all about American History at the beginning of the presentation.

They must have added it. the last time I went was 98. they only introdused the presidents and they did a couple of speachs.

its not as bad as you make it out to be. but they i find you dont like most of the rides at Disney.

I thought the show was pretty cool. It was air-conditioned and was a nice break from the crowds and the heat too. I didnt have to wait in line either. I thought it was pretty good. Id see it again.

to eagle: well, that is true, i do have a bit of a grudge against Disney, but that really didnt come into play for this ride. I just thought it was bad. I mean, the animatronics are terrible, and its basically a history lesson....i go to the parks for fun, not school.

An d you can have that opinion just liek mine towards SFI. what would you have expected from a show called the hall of presidents? its not doing to be a dark ride with assasons.

well, i know that, but why is it at Disney? thats all i want to know, i mean, its even a stretch for them to have a show like that

Because when Walt helped disign the Ameracan are. they wanted to show off why we were deferant. this woudl be use havign a Democracy and electign presiidants. what else woudl you put in a calonial/American themed scuare.

good point, i didnt really stop to think about how old it was.

i admit it can be a littel slow. espectialy when you have sombady like Busch speeking. they ned to only have speachs from the important ones.

well, i only saw it once, and that was a long time ago, (thank goodness) but when i think about how old it is, its more of an icon to the park than anything else.

I do agre that they older animatronics could use some touch up.

I just saw the show in February, and thought it was very good. I thought the animatronics were in great shape. then again, I sat in the back, so I couldnt see any close details.

The newer ones are great. but some of the older ones arent quite in good shap. bu tthen they only nod their heads and wave. how good do they need to be.

well, i guess you seem to think they are good enough. they might not do many complex motions, but if you thought it was good, maybe they are still in good shape

They do the job that is needed. i mean if you arnt that close so any sligh bounce of off movment is norlamy not seen. they cam take that milion and do somthing better with it. perhaps a new attraction.

or they could put it into the fund for the giant yeti......lol

ya. thing is I think a 50ft yeti is littel corny. seams over board. i rather have a dozen 15-20ft yetis.

I think it woudlend up looking to much like a white fered Kong. not that ascary to start with.

heck, they might just buy the kong from Universal....

its posible. USF had to do somthign with it.

they could probably get alot of money for it too. i mean, then disney could have a fully animated yeti.

They woudl still likly add to it. bu tI still rather see allot of smaller ones.

but ove done. I woudl find a 20 yei more realistic and intimidatign then a 50ft one.

very true, and if they have just money to burn, they could make them fully animated and all that. It could really be spectacular, and again, much better than just one big one

What I woudl do is disigne it liek theold woods. larg fast drops but slower turn. you could use those torns to get attact points for the yeti. have him walk forwork tords you and things liek that. perhaps drop down.

they could make it so like it looks like a section of the track ahead of you is out, with warning signs and stuff, and then make it so right at the edge you go into a really steep drop. thered be a TON of airtime, and itd be pretty cool too.
