Review of Big Thunder Mountain @ Magic Kingdom

You want a Disney classic? Look no further than Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Sure there are no 50+ft drops, or inversions, or 50mph speeds, but its still one great ride. I practically grew up on this ride, it was my first true coaster and I will always look back on this thing with great things to say about it.

Obviously the bright point on this is its theming. There is always something to look at, whether it be inside the caves or some small shaft around the outside of the twisted track that features some tight turns. Great alone, even better with a big group of friends.

What did people actually do at the Magic Kingdom before Thunder Mountain was built? Ride Mr. Toad and the Haunted Mansion all day? JK. Id like to have visited the Magic Kingdom during its first 10 years. It looks like it was the Islands of Adventure for its day.

actually you waited on line to ride Mr Toad and the Haunted Mansion all day. Actually, as a kid I remember getting on a total of only about ten rides a day. Usually Space Mountain, Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion, Mr Toad, Its a Small World, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean along with a couple of others.
