Review of Incredible Hulk Coaster @ Islands of Adventure
-4 Rating Posted by: thechad on 4/28/2003 11:23:00 AM
I found this ride semi-enjoyable. I know I used to have the rating at a 4 but some of the comments sort of flicked a switch on in my blank head...but I still do not think this is the greatest B&M has got. I deducted 2 points for the punishing the OTSRs gave when going aroung the turns, another 2 points deducted because it was such a short ride. The zero-g roll was cool though, and the huge cobra roll. So I guess you guys were right so I will give it 2 pts back plus another pt since I was such a jerk.

"Best coaster on earth?" They never said that. They consider IOA the best park though.

it is a great coaster, and this deserves more than a 10, a lot moe than a 10.

I agree. Giving a B&M a 4 is just wrong.

Whats wrong with your body structure? Those OTSR are the most comfortable Ive ever been on. BTW: There is no way that a B&M, especially this one, deserves less than an 8 AT THE EXTREME LEAST.

exactly, some people just cant accept the fact that the hulk is one of the best c oasters out there.

Im not trying to offend anyone, its just my opinion. And by the way I agree that B&M has made some of the most excellent rides on earth, I just didnt find this one that great.

thank you for explaining it a little more. and B&M has made some of the best rides on earth.

Man, thats wrong. The Hulk is one of the best coasters out there. I rode it 3 times in a row and i never got tired of it

I see your top picks are inverteds, this is not. The coaster is better than a 4 but I would not rank it #1 in any means. You have to look at the overall. The ride is 2:15 min/sec long. 7 inversions with an exit speed of 40mph and a top of 67mph. B&Ms are very smooth. One item they might have not told you and this might be the local you rode. LINE # 3&6 are reserved for Taller/Larger guests in the park. The OTSR are more spacious and give much more room to move about. Riding with my manager (during a private party) in the 6th row, he was great, I was roughed up a bit but nothing major, that was after the 27 time that night. You are entitled to your opinion but loose the False Hipe, let them like it. Thanks for your time.

Ok youve convinced me...Ill give it back 2 pts. I feel bad for doin that now.
tacoking on 6/30/2003 1:42:51 PM said:
That is much better, but seamaster, why wouldnt you rank it #1?

At IOA, I still liked the Dueling Dragons better. Sorry, I love the thrill of an LIM, but I do believe more fun was had in the back of the park. Ice & Fire were great, The theming of the castle, Computer Adjustment of lift chains (they literly push you down the hill), along with the trill of near-misses were just to much fun.

Yea I agree, Dueling Dragons creates a huge shadow over Hulk. I think I was just so thrilled with DD it made Hulk look like crap. So Ive decided to rank Hulk as if DD never existed.

It is hard to rate so many good rides, especially when we have not been on them all. Some of the small parks have so much to offer but never get the attention due to the almighty dollar. Hope things are going well in CA

One thing I disagree with with you on is when you said most of the fun was at the back at the park, I have always spent more time in the front part of the park. I always thought it was more fun there, and that there was more stuff to do.

Oh yeah. Sry. The front of the pakr is good too. The front has Popeye and Ripsaw Falls and Hulk and Spiderman and Seuss Landing and Dr Doom...
