Eh im kinda in the middle with this. I saw the original but i dont remember it very well. I remember i was kinda bored. Now with the new version i cant say i was bored. I think i enjoy it more now mostly because i like when the tiki god awakens (that couldve been in the original i dont remember). However i think they couldve left eago and the other one out of it. Thats just retarded. I think disney is trying to incorporate their characters too much and its taking away. Next well see mowgli and baloo in jungle cruise.

The tiki god was version 2.0 the under new managment was like 2.5 they just added the anoying Godfread, I dont mind Zazo thow. at least he seams in place and has the mental copasity to be runing hte place.

Its a show. If you think this is a ride not wonder your disapointed.

ok. but the atraction is injoyable and a great way to escape the heat. the rain is the best because they add smell to it so it smells like rain.

well yeah, thats true, but overall, it gets slightly annoying after little while. little kids will like it much more.....

I can agree its main focase in childrin. and talking animals do higly apeal to them. the show is only about 15/20 minutes. and the last park of it it the Tiki god and the addition of the totom polls as well.

out of the many times ive been to the park i have never been in the tiki room.and from what ive heard i dont think ill be in a hurry to go in it.

Might be somethin u wanna do just so u can say u did it but dont expect much.

thats probably what ill do, but the other rides are my first choices

they should be, ive experienced the tiki room before, and its an experience that i wish i could forget.....

Its nothing special..pretty much something youll find at disney..u go into like an ancient temple and a bunch a animatronic birds sing..in the old version that was it..they just sang..now they have eago and zazoo in it to add some comedy. there are some cool parts (when the tiki god awakens) but for the most part id just go to say u did it.

hes relatively new..like their newest version (but thats been runnin for at least 5 years now if not more, so its not new..just the newest version)

first of i need to correct myself..the tiki god is not the newest version its the second newest and i really dont know..ask mrceagle..he knows a lot more about that stuff than i do.

bserwin you ar not the weakist link. their are 5. the first was a single bird that welcomed you to tomarow land. he was so populare peaple were blocking off the walkway into Adventure land. so they started the Tiki room, which became the tropical seranade, they they added the Tiki god, then they updated the tiki god to incorperate a modern rock sound, then they killed it by adding Zazo and Yago.

the under new management ruined any type of entertainment the show once had. it was supposed to be just some jungle setting with birds and gods and what-not. but to add those freaking disney birds ruined the show

i kno a lot of ppl will disagree with me but i think i like it better now. the old one was good but i lost interest and it was just some stupid birds singin..its kinda the same but it has a plot and the tiki god is cool..i dont really like the addition of eago and zazoo because i just dont like them changing classics to fit in characters but i have to say its more interesting.

id call it a show but not a very good one..little animatronic birds singin isnt very good..like i said..somethin to do cuz theres no line and u did everything else and u have time left-over

I have been to this atraction 6 times the first two times I went we did it twice. Teh origanal featured birds and the the totum poles would look around. they then added the totum poles that would sing. after thet they added the tiki god. thy second to last change was the best. the tiki god was rewriten to incorperate a rock sound and the show was fun. i really injoyed the show. the birds, totum polls, tikigod, wthis weard would carving that woud beat on drums, adn that thunder storm exalent effect. they shouldnt of changed it.

i dunno..probably because they keep getting ideas on how to make the show "better"..also it seems lately disney has been tryin hard to incorporate all its characters into the parks more (characters are all over now..no more havin to seek them out..and in EPCOT they are incorporating characters..plus this new stitch rumor) so thats prob why eago and zazoo got involved.

never thought of that.... i think now i might just do it when im in the area... o yea, what place is it at???

O thats right, damn i feel stupid. there is SO much crap to remember. i shoulda known that, i got htere like once a month. i remember now, it goes from adventureland to fromtierland back around to fantasyland then tomorrowland, and the liberty square is in the middle of all it.

Your right RAM, it has t do with incorperatign their character to the park. I feel its selling out. They want you to see the character then rent or buy the movie or buy a stuffed toy. but they are ruining good attractions in the process. i injoyed it more looking for the characters. not to mention how much it costs to hire all the peaple to play the parks.

yea i kno..i saw this written somewhere in the site i dont kno by who but i agree with it "it used to be like a hide and seek game"..it was like o look theres capt. hook. now theyre everywhere. and i can think of a way to incorporate a character into every disney ride that doesnt already have one in it so i hope htis trend doesnt continue..disneys seems like its startin to go downhill..i just have to pray the stitch rumors arent true, proj. gemini will be approved and that they make AK a good park..it has potential.

but thats exactly what disney wants. they want you to see obvious signs of disney everywhere, so you get disney stuck in your head, and when you sleep at night you dream of disney, and your humming disney tunes, until sooner or later you go and buy something disney.

I was the one that posted the comment. thow I have beentothe park when I was youger in fact I have been their for times. and my first and second were the best. after that they started replacing rides and throughing caracters everywere. they shut down the penny arcade for another store.

haha. i remember every timne i went there, when i was young and the characters were nowhere, i wouild want to see donald or someone and my mom or dad would go searching through the whole park to get one for me

now theyre everywhere..and they got those little meet and greet places where kids have to stand in a line to meet a character.

why stand in line, you will probably see that character somewhere else.

that sounds, um, kinda gay. a half hour wait to see a guy dressed up in a suit. oook. i wouldnt wait 5 min.

Waiting in line for the characters is stuped. I have at one point or another seen every character and not in the stuped mete areas. The american Adventure almost always has Micky , Minie, and Goofy out side.

there is, maybe, a spongebob movie coming out. and i know a lot of kids older than me, and some sduilts, that like the sponge. and a new episode for the sponge is on tis month!!!!

I thing you mean Fugi-Q Spa land with Steel dragon 2000. not to mentin Dadapa. Nick character they all suck except for the Rugrates. and I have traviled as far as Florida for parks and Traviled from NH to Texas and back. Ive never been to Carowinds wich stinks because at one point I was living ont 30 min away. never had the money adn couldnt convince my parents to let use taek the car and go their.

No we were going to stop at SFOT but My father got called back to work(Army). we hit the base I lived on as a chiled and hit the Zoo in El Paso, Western Playland wasnt open the day we set aside to go their. basicly things fell apart. but we did get ot Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexaco and th eMIllion Doller Musium. they have a fantastic Shooting Gallery their.

i went to texas..family there..we went to Dallas and while we were there we were sposed to sop at SFOT but that day i got really sick and we didnt end up goin..then the next day we went to a rangers game whose stadium is like across the street and from the road i could see a giant coaster so that sux cuz we were right there and couldnt go..in the end it worked out cuz my other aunt lives in san antonio so we went there and went to SFFT

florida is cool. haha. anyways, besides parks whats in texas

Acually if you get into any of the citys they have good Musiums and restorant. their are alot of helth and beuty spas in southern florida.

if i had to move to one place id take texas..dont know why, i just love that state but florida is better..more and better parks and a shitload of other stuff

well i guess it depends where in it you live..i have family down there and it doesnt seem like theres much to do but other parts seem like they have a lot..i.e. Orlando

yes. there isnt just parks here in florida. just one more thing, of many, is we have great beaches

yea i went to a beach but i was dissapointed cuz i pictured aqua waters and it looked the same as a beach in RI..maybe we were too far up..we were in Jacksonville. Orlando seems to have a lot cuz they got a lot outside the park..i saw a ripleys muesam while i was there.

yea the beaches get better, the farther south the better.

i almost went down for april vaca to the keys but it got cancelled and were goin to LV instead..if we went down there we prob woulda stopped at USF and maybe BGT

vegas is cool. i went there for last xmas break. it was fun

So Im not the only one that wants to go to Vages and could care less about gambling. the rides their look good. eve Desporato. their other rides sound good to. Texas is great. it hot but its a dry heat(low to no Humidity). and the storms pass quickly. the land is open and relaxing. its fantastic.

i love the heat but i hate humidity so texas is good. yea i think LV rides look good. i cant wait for speed..ive never ridden a ride like that, almost did (mr freeze in SFOT). im also lookin forward to the heartline twist and dive (i think thats what its called) on the manhattan express and of course BIG SHOT. ill prob ride high roller but just for the hell of it..im not expecting much. also im not too excited bout canyon blaster but i hope im in for a pleasant surprise. as for desperado..i think it looks great..of couurse i may be a little biased due to my love of hyper coasters but i dont think ill be able to convince my parents to rent a car just so we can drive ovcer there and ride a rollercoaster. especially cuz im the only one in my family who will actually ride it.

Desperado is EXTREMELY rough. i went on it, only once, i couldnt do another ride. in the casino theres a cool flume that goes through there. when we were going on desperado they gave us a free ticket for a ride on manhatten express. and its like a 30-40min drive to bufaalo bills from the strip. it was cool on our way to BBs, there was a hotel/casino that had a special, all you can eat crab legs!!!! so on the way back we stopped, and they were SOOOO good. but newaysbig shot is a real cool ride, a big thrill. high roller is ok, most people go on it just cuz its 975ft abouve ground. speed the ride is REAL fun. love the lanches, and the might let u go twice. when i went on it they let me go for 3 rides on one ticket. and the manhatten exress is a very good ride. i liked it. i wanted to ride again, but i didnt want to spend all my money.

so would u say desperados worth rentin a car for or takin a taxi or just forget it.

if that hotel is doin the crab leg thing, yes, if not, then its up to u. i didnt find it all that great, i, at times, wanted the ride to end it was so rough

well i dont like seafood so the crab thing doesnt interest me but u didnt seem to like it so i prob wont end up goin. was it a good hyper though..i dont know if youve ever ridden a hyper but how was it...airtime?

the airtime was good, raging bulls at SFGAm was better, and it was ok, besides the roughness, i did a review about it. read that.

ok..read all of them..i think i might do it just cuz i love hypers and i heard some mentions to free tickets to the manhattan express which i dont think is far from my hotel so ill prob fit a few rides of that in. also theres a tower ride and a flume there or so i saw under Buffalo Bills page. ,ight be worth a visit.

Its like a sally interactive dark ride. IE Goast hunt. but you ride through a flum. they are aslo rumered to be geting a 4D threater attraction. I personaly would take a cab or try for a bus Im shore you can find one. renting may coast you alot of money. a bus may only cost a few bucks. ride the coaser and the other rides. if it isnt that goo then dont do it again.

ill see. were on a tight budget cuz this year were gettin a new car and were savin up for Disney in the fall (i hope) so were gonna be cheap..if we get a cab id be the only one wantin it since my family isnt big into thrill rides so theyd prob make me pay for it. how much does the manhattan express coast. im stayin a couple nights in the Luxor..thats like across the street right..i think it is or at least close in which case ill rpob want to get a couple rides in.

I wish I could buy a care. itsmore abotu I grow up in Scouts. made Eagle, hence my sign on name MRC my initials and Eagle my acomplished rank in scouts. but they teach you to be thrifty. so I hit Matinays at the movies if posible. and find the most coast efficiant way to do things. needles to say I like Season passes. but to return tothe point. I would try to take a bus. why their cheaper also they wont try to take the long way their to get more money out of ya. so you wont loose any time. and a Car rental in Vages is likly extreamly expensive.

Ive always been good about keeping my money. but I admit I do spend it as well, i own a 2300 doller computer and thats not talking th estuff that gose with it. i also have a full staroe systom. and a couple hundred DVDS.

wow..i dont usually have that much to start withbut when i do i go through it easily. stuff is expensive nowadays. i started savin up for Vegas, i got $40 so far.

I have no problems with Mark. exept I had a hell of a time geting back on th esite after he kicked me off. I was signing in from home and school and he figured I myself was a double poster. he locked my IP address. he eventually reinstated my acount but never turned back on my IP. I had to get a new modem to get back on from home. but both him and shortcake havnt been on the site for a wile like 4 days. things like ride additins need to be done and they arnt. hopfully his absence means TPC 2.0 will be out soon.

if it werent for mark, none of us would be doing any of this. we should be glad that such a quality site is available for all of us theme park critics. dont bite the hand that feeds you.

IIIII was one of those idiots that gave bad ratings to everything that wasnt in his home park. I remember someone made a post about him and his rating scheme and he was out soon after.

but it says hes banned on his profile

For starters he was posting reviews on rides he hasnt riden. for example Bolder dash he gave a 1 and said its just plain boring. he posted review to attack parks that were better then the parks he liked. and yet swaring can ge you banned if you dont watch it. the R&R section you can sware but it you were just puting in swares exerywere. ya that could get you through out. basicly if you are constintly bracking the rules.

For the record ||| was banned because he wouldnt respond to emails that I sent him asking a few questions. Instead he recreated about 4 other accounts and continued posting. So that was the end of the argument.
