 Review of Great Movie Ride, The @ Disney-MGM Studios

Great ride going through some of my favorite movies (Alien, Indiana Jones ....). The driver even becomes a part of the ride more than youd expect. My favorite part has to be when the ride gets highjacked. But our tour guide comes to the rescue. Dont miss it on your trip to MGM.

lol, yeah, i have a thing against disney. it basically goes back to when i went there last year (for the final time) and nearly every ride at every park i tried to go on broke down. but thats only the beginning. disney has this strange idea that a ride can be considered good if it has good theming. thats why disney overthemes every ride they have, in order to mask the fact that the ride itself is just average. take splash mountain, for example. it can barely compare to other much better water rides, yet because it has good theming, everyone seems to think its the greatest ride ever. i just think disney takes the easy way out, and never really builds any new or exciting rides, they just hype average ones alot, brainwashing the public into thinking their something they really arent.

U have a point but they do build some new and exciting rides..extraTERRORestrial alien encounter..RocknRoller Coaster and Countdown to Extinction (now dinosaur but i refuse to call it that) are all exciting and new rides that meet exceptional standards.

rocknroller coaster i give credit to, but there are talks about replacing ET, and the dinosaur ride is okay, but the effects really suck. seriously, magic kingdom should just build a roller coaster (B&M of course) and solve all of their problems

Ok is they replace ET i will lose all respect for Disney and they wont be seein me until the redeem themselves (which will take a lot). I like CCT but your right a coaster would make MK better. I think they should trash the treehouse and put in an indy themed coaster.

The problem w/ MK is it really offers no thrills. ET is the most thrilling thing and if they remove it the most thrilling thing would be space mountain and its more of a fun coaster. I think that would drive away the older crowd and wouldnt be a smart move for disney to make..however i wouldnt doubt they would since theyve been tryin to integrate their characters a lot (the tiki room). As for the movie (Lilo and Stitch)i havent seen it..dont want too but ive seen commercials and it looks like a pretty retarded movie so to theme it after that would really piss me off.
