Liked it better years ago with General Electric sponsorhip and when the song was, "Now is the Best Time of Our Life." It would be hard to update as other attempts at Disney (other than Tiki Room) have been failures. In recent years, there always seems to be a breakdown of some sort. Now open for seasonal operation at peak times, it rarely plays to a full house as it did 10-20 years ago. Sentimental favorite among Disneyites because Walt designed it for 1964 Worlds Fair. If it does go away, it would be missed but it isnt a must-see attaction and when time is scarce, it gets pushed down the list. Still, interesting to watch but the adrenaline level is so out of syncwith the rest of the park that I doze off more often than not. Id rate this as a third-tier attraction.

For starters, the song has always been "Its a great big beutifal tommarow". This is a classic ride no mater what. the premus is great and song is ceatchy. it may not fill but it is still one of the best rides in the Desniy arsinal. If they were to take this out I and many other would be very desapointed in the company. I wouldnt mind the ride being moved to Inavations in EPCOT though. oh and the updated Tiki room is Lame!!

Actually the the song that KingLusse is referring to wasnt the original song. The song they have now is. They change it to the one that Lusse likes then back to the original one. Why? I dont know.

mrceagle, I like your idea about moving Carousel of Progress over EPCOT...it would be better than getting rid of it completely and besides, that just might be where it really belongs.
