 Review of Ripsaw Falls @ Islands of Adventure

The overall theming in this one wasnt so great, but it was neat getting airtime on a flume. That was definitely a new experience for me. Also, I can see how this ride could be compared to Splash Mountain, but if youre seriously comparing the two, you might find it true that this one is seriously lacking.

amen, this ride is TEN times better than SM. its got better animatronics, a more interesting story, a better drop, better theming, and you get much more wet. theres no comparison between the two

Personally id rather ride SM. This was fun with the fact that it was part coaster and the drop was fun but i agree with Lin48. The downside was the themeing. You cannot even begin to compare the themeing to SM. Everwhere u look on that ride there is sumthing to see. On this its like a spotlight goes on and theres a 2sec sucky animatronic show. Im not sayin this ride sucked but you cannot compare its lack of themeing to that of disney.
