Lightning Racer is the BEST wooden roller coaster I have ridden to date!! Lightning Racer proves that massive heights and insane speed arent needed to produce a world-class coaster. First off, the trains are totally slick and probably the most comfortable trains Ive ever ridden in. The lift is interesting, being that one side is higher up than the other, but then you even out at the top. The first drop, at 90 feet, is awesome!! I was amazed how smooth this ride was from start to finish. Then comes the absolute fun of the racing/dueling element, which I personally thought was super!! The fly-by leading into the tunnel was my favorite part! The crossovers were excellent and really gave the ride that racing feel. Overall, great drops, great airtime and incredible smoothness equal one blast of a ride!! Kudos to Hershey on a job well done!!! A must-ride and fun for all!!
