Saw Mill Splash is a very unique ride. Too be honest I had never really ridden anything like it before so I can't compare it to anything really similiar. You don't really get very wet on it. And depending on your perspective, this could be either really good or really bad. I personally like to get soaked on water rides (assuming its hot out of course). But that fact doesn't change my enjoyment of it. I will agree that the actual ride is very short in duration and the line can be long. It was REALLY long when I walked by in the afternoon but when I came back around 7 it was only a wait of a couple of moments. While I certainly wasn't racing to go back and do it again, I strongly disagree with the poster who said it wasn't worth riding at all. I think it was pretty good and also very well themed.

I found this ride to be really good. Well it certainly is a rare type of ride. The capacity is horrible, but most water slides have a horrible capacity. The slide was pretty fast and the raft spun like crazy. I especially liked the speedy double drop at the end with the waterfall. Then the water part at the end was a bit dull for my taste though.

River raft ride that you dont get that wet on but it spins around really fast which is alot of fun. Long in duration. Ride capacity large, rerideable.

Definately one of the most unique things I have ever seen. However being unique helps but it will not score well in my ratings. APPEARANCE-9 It looks very cool mixed in with the theme of this area and the large yellow slide definately causes you to wonder "What is that". CAPACITY-3 Low capacity per raft coupled with not many rafts definately cause a long line for a short ride. RIDE QUALITY-3 You spin way too fast for me and it also really took away from the downhill part of the ride. The final drop is pretty quick but I was so busy spinning I could hardly enjoy it. Adding a little bit after the slide part would have been cool. FUN-3 Weird but not really fun. RERIDE-2 Only if I go with my family and they are just dying to try it. OVERALL-20 AVG-4.0 I didnt really like it, but I am really glad I tried it. I am surprised I have not seen more small parks with something like this unless the capacity issues just killed the idea.

Keep in mind this ride was manufactured as a water ride, but is intended to give its riders the thrill of a river raft ride without getting soaked. There are many people out there who enjoy water rides, but hate being soaked head-to-toe afterwards, though I am not one of them. This ride gets my approval for its fast spins and the thrill it gives you on the hill down. Also, if you can try this ride at night, with little lighting it makes it even better!

The only cool part of this ride is the fact that you spin around really fast. Its a water ride, but the only way you can get wet, is if you have large people riding in the raft. Its not worth riding. Its a really short ride and the line is probably twice as long as the ride is.
