This is my second favorite rapids ride. It is in a nice area and has a nice setting, it doesn't have a huge waterfall, but you still get soaked, and it is near a good ride to cool off on, Skyride. Overall, this is one heck of a rapids ride that you shouldn't miss.
A very good rapids ride. There was certainly a great deal of water and wetness involved, the layout was interesting, and the ride was smooth and fun.
Finally, a rapids ride that is long! I enjoyed the setting of this, tucked away in the back of the park, and the walkways around the track were a nice touch.
this is a great rapids ride a must ride in this park
Great rapids ride. The theming is great and the ride promises to soak. This i the most wet Ive gotten on any water ride.
Great river rapids ride. The landscaping around the ride is great and I came off completely drenched thanks to the many soaking rapids during the ride, especially the last three which were huge. The ride was pretty long as well.
This ride is really fun. I love it when it dips down at one point and a huge wave comes over the raft. Although, I do wish they would let you wear youre bathing suit on it.
Thunder Rapids Raft Ride is a nationally recognized river rapids ride (seen on Discovery Channels Extreme Rides). Despite all the fame and attention, I have honestly been on much better river rapids rides. There are many green rafts which creates a high capacity. The layout is better than many other river rapids rides I have been on because it has many rapids that get you wet, a final rapid that soaks riders, and a waterfall (though poor it adds variety to the ride). The rides surroundings near the mountain is very nice. You get the wettest on the last rapid sending a large cascade of water over the lucky riders who plunge into it. No matter where you sit on this ride you will come off wet. Luckily, I have never encountered a wait on this ride. It has always been a walk-on for me because I generally ride it around 6:30 when few people want to get wet. Overall, a fun river rapids ride.
This was an excellent rapids ride. I detest most water rides and avoid them like the IRS, but I ended up riding this one while down at the far end of the park. I was about halfway through and saw everyone else was very wet, and I was still relatively dry. "Whew", I thought, since I dont like walking around soggy. Well, I got pounded in the last half, taking at least three big rapids in my side and I came off wetter than anyone on my boat. The scenery was beautiful and it played into the mountain scenery well, and I cant complain much about anything. Currently one of my favorite water rides.
This ride is better than your average rapids ride because of the beatiful scenery surrounding it. Other than that this ride is northing special, just a standard run-of-the-mill rapids ride. Warning: You will get soaked!
