One word : powerful
These are the single most extreme 5 seconds I've ever experienced. The adrenaline rush it provides is just wonderful.
You're sitting there, completely unaware of when you're going to be thrown into the sky like a ragdoll.
And when it happens, it feels so beauthifully surnatural that for the first 2 seconds you aren't wholly conscient that the landscape suddenly plummeting down 50 meters below you, the powerful feeling of being slammed, litteraly crushed into your seat by the fierce G forces and the unreal speed at which you're shooting up into orbit in the middle of a lake, all of this is real. At first it totally seems like a dream.
And what follows is one of the most extreme airtime moments I've ever experienced. It's a long, really long ejection out of your seat 50 meters above the earth. Sounds pretty amazing that high, in the middle of a lake, immediately after a super powerful vertical launch, doesn't it? Don't get me wrong, it IS all that amazing.
This ride may be short, but boy, does it thrill. Even after a 45 minutes wait, you can hardly be more satisfied. You can't leave La Ronde without giving this bad boy a try.
Easily one of the best S&S towers out there. I love the rides location on the little island and the views from the top were great. This one had a good launch with some strong Gs, but the car is launched downwards once it reaches the top and therefore it gave an excellent burst of ejector air and a great stomach dropping sensation, which I never get on these space shot towers.
This ride was very fun. The launch sucked you into your sat but at the top the airtime was INCREDIBLE! I blasted right out of my seat and hit the restraints! The drop down was fun and the little bumps were fun too. Although it was over too quick.
It was a slack night when I visited. They would only run this ride with 8 or more people. Having the ride on a platform in a lake is an innovative idea. However, the ride itself is over so quickly you have no time to get scared or to really enjoy it.
one of the few launch towers with the photo op. LaRonde utiliziesa lack of land by putting the Tower on a manmade island platform over the lake (ala Indiana Beach). Nice air on the launch.
Thrill going up. But ride only handles 12 at a time. Ride lasts only 30 seconds but only about 7 are fun. Line ups to long for the ride. Speed pass? Use it for Le Vampire instead.
Um, ok... were should i start.. oh yeah, this ride is not scary at all, u barely feel the drop the only good thing is the view.. but i guess fun would be the word for it
