The 360 King Kong part is awesome. I just wish it was separate from the regular tour. I have season passes and who wants to watch the whole tour again? The King Kong part could definitely be experienced again and again, though!

If your looking to sit thru 45 minutes of pure cheese then this ride is for you,but for me this ride was a little hit or miss but mostly miss. The tour guide seemed very uneducated on his area of expertise and the choice of movies used were very poor. not really worth the money. the park could use a new ride

Complete Hollywood Genious. You have to love the scenes and locations of your favorite movie/show. Very fun!

You really get your moneys wirth with this ride! An informative tour of television and movie sets mixed with some elements of a theme park ride. The ride lasts 45 minutes so be prepared! But dont worry, it rarely feels like it is dragging on. My only complaint is that my tour guide was WAY too cheesy. But other than that, this is a must see attraction at Universal

an amazing ride, nearly an hour of pure movie nirvana, the King Kong sequence is amazing, theres never a dull moment in this great epic classic.

This is the only reason to head over to Universal Hollywood. MGMs tour in Orlando cant even begin to compare. This is a well thought out, well executed tour. Very long, very informative and constantly changing. I feel some of the attractions were "pushed" into this tour because of Orlando, such as the Jaws part. Seemed a little forced. The problem with the tour is the trams are so long, all the different rides invovled cant be done on a personal level. You can see Jaws on the tram ahead of you before he gets to your own tram. No surprises, no thrills. In any case, those are minor nitpicks to this wonderful tour. Just thinking of the ride right now, Im remembering all of the different parts of the tour. There is SO much to see on this attraction. Earthquake, King Kong, "water landslide", real movie sets (War of the Worlds, Seuss, Desperete Housewives, etc), real movie studios...the list goes on and on. If you miss this ride, youre missing the reason to be at Universal Studios Hollywood.

this is the world famous tour, and id say it lives up to its potential, if you are mad that king kong closed in florida, you go through a building themed from king kong.

This is a real long guided tour-ride that really shows what goes on behind the scenes at various stages and sets. It also has various famed props on display and uses some movies special effects (i.e. a flash flood). It really makes you feel like a VIP

This is the world-famous Universal Studios Hollywood backlot tram tour, so you definitely cannot miss it. The tour lasts anywhere from between 45 minutes to an hour, with a guide as well as TV monitors dishing out tons of info along the way. I think the monitors are doing more than the guides these days, which I actually dont like so much, but its a minor complaint. You begin by going through the front lot, which looks exactly like youd imagine a production studio to look, before going into the backlot to visit all of the mock sets. Its rare to see any real work going on, even though the huge number of films, TV shows, music videos, etc., that they tell you have been shot on each set proves that much work actually does take place. You are bound to recognize at least a couple sites from a movie scene. Lets not forget the fun stuff thats just for the tram ride itself--King Kong, Earthquake, Jaws, the collapsing bridge, the Mummys tomb, the flash flood, and, perhaps the cheesiest but most classic attraction at Universal, the parting of the Red Sea. This is a must every time.
