Average Vekoma Boomerang. One of 2 in New England. Not the smoothest out there, but smoother than wildcat, which is why I ranked it above wildcat.

Pretty smooth and certainly exciting. Its surroundings, however, were not and seemed to lend the ride an initially boring atmosphere. The elements are fairly typical, but to experience them in the manner this coaster rides is enjoyable and a bit of a change of pace from coasters in which they are spaced out more.

This was a disappointing ride overall. The only thing I liked was the reverse incline and since we were in the back car it felt like we were going to fall forward out of our seats and the drop was good. The rest was rough for a steel coaster in an unpleasant way (whereas I don&#39.t mind rough woodies). a short ride...nothing special. Not worth a long line but still worth checking out.

I doubled my boomerang count in a matter of a few hours by riding this and the one at SFNE This boomerang looked nice, and was actually kind of a crowd-pleaser, but still seemed a bit on the rough side, especially during the backwards trip. I will admit that since I rode in the back, the first lift gave me a great view of beautiful Lake Compounce, and produced a decent first drop.

Meh standard Vekoma Boomerang. Nothing too special although the new paintjob is cool. It is in a boring location.

One of the smoothest boomerangs out there. The drops on this one were thrilling as usual and the inversions were intense, but they definitely were smoother on this one than on others. There still was some minor headbanging still though.

Best Boomerang I have ridden, only one I got stuck on though, haha.

It could use a coat of paint, in the next few years though. I think they could have gotten a Vekoma Corkscrew model and that would have been more popular, the backwards is a little too scary for some people. But as far as Boomerangs go this was a good one. Just make sure you sit in the middle of the train (seats 13&14) they are the smoothest, just watch out when it grabs the chain, its loud!

Ill forgo my five piece analysis on this since it is a boomerang. I must say as I looked at other reviews if you found this one rough lookout for what the others will do. this is my fourth one like this and it is by far the best and the smoothest. I would actually reride this one. If you found this one to not be even average then you will definately hate most of the other boomerangs that you run into.

THE best Vekoma boomerang that I have been on. It was pretty smooth(considering) and was very nicely kept up. I really liked it.

Ah, Lake Compounce is home to a very noteworthy boomerang for me, my first. But how was my first encounter with this often-cloned coaster? Well as the old saying states, "the first is the worst". That certainly is true when compared to all of the boomerangs I've been on.

First off, I don’t really like the ride’s appearance much at all. Now while I didn’t really like the attraction’s old green paint scheme, I really dislike the new purple paint scheme. It does stand out, but it just doesn’t seem to fit in with this traditional park in my opinion, especially with its location right next to Garfield’s Circus World, the park’s very nice kiddie area.

Before my first ride on this Vekoma, I was scared simply because I had never gone backwards on a roller coaster before. Eventually I thankfully conquered that fear. However, this is one of the few coasters that I am scared to ride each and every time I ride it ride after ride. Unfortunately it's for all the wrong reasons since I just fear the headache that the ride is capable of dishing out. Still, I often ride it once while at Lake Compounce since the line thankfully isn't too long despite it’s low capacity.

My favorite seat as always on these boomerangs is the back simply because of that great first drop. After the incredibly intense first drop, the pain begins. The first half isn't too bad with only some minor headbanging in the cobra roll, but once the ride goes backwards, the headache really begins. While the vertical loop was fine and quite forceful, my head was screaming for mercy during the vicious cobra roll.

Zoomerang is a mediocre coaster for sure, but it's still worth riding since it usually has a minimal line. However, just be prepared for a Vekoma headbanging galore during that cobra roll. Thanks to it providing the roughest ride by far of all the boomerangs I've been on, this one is deserving of the crown for the worst boomerang.
