No visit to SFOT would be meaningful without riding the Titan. The first drop is wonderful... very intimidating the first time you ride and long enough to really enjoy it every time you ride it. The much maligned brake stop too is great fun, particularly if you are in the left seat of the front car- dangling still over the abyss for a couple moments is an experience in itself! After the rush of the first drop, the ride isn't over. The roar of powering through the 2 helixes is almost enough to be a ride of its own, but certainly nothing to cause physical concern. I personally saw a grey-haired lady in a wheelchair get escorted onto the ride from the handicapped elevator, and she loved it! I wonder if the people who complain of the unsafe g forces should be riding anything other than the teacup rides... The best ride in the park!

It has a good first drop, but other than that the ride is too intense and made me black out (other people riding this also had this or dimming happen during it). The brake run brings you almost to a complete stop mid ride, but I think that everyone wouldn't be conscious by the end of the ride without it almost totally stopping you. I am not the most impressed, especially with too many positive G forces.

It needs more air time and less g-force. The first two drops are great fun, but the rest is just unsettling. The spiral made me blind for a few seconds once, I didn&#39.t like that. And the mid row brake is TERRIBLE!

This is an awesome coaster as is,but I think the power generated by the first lift deserves another 1000 ft. of track before going into the helices.Lines are long but move quickly. No problem there.Best freefall in the back seat, better airtime in the front.

Titan was the first non-kiddie coaster I rode. It was quite a big step-up from riding Poison Ivys Twisted Train at SFNE. I was pretty much forced to ride it by my friend, and I was really nervous because I had never ridden anything so big or so fast. As the train made its way up the lift hill, I tried to keep my eyes forward and not look to the side of me, but I did and ended up realizing I was towering over 250 feet above Arlington. I started getting really scared and before I knew it we were at the top, slowly inching our way over the peak of the hill. A few seconds later I saw nothing but the ground, and we were speeding down into a 10 foot tunnel. The rest of the ride was a blast, and since then Ive ridden the Titan at least 10 times. Titan is my favorite roller coaster, and one of the rides I have to get on each time I go to the park.

The first half of this ride is pretty good. The first half of the first drop gives you decent airtime, the second drop is uneventful and the bunny hill is great due to the engineered sustained air. The rest of the ride contains two unsafely intense helices as well as a brake that stops a train going about 70 completely. You must be ready for the brake. I do not ride Titan very often because 5 gs put on riders for 5-6 seconds like Titan does TWICE is unsafe and quite frankly not very enjoyable. I like airtime, hills and speed, not this crap. The second part of the ride should be redone, and ONLY then, in my opinion, will Titan recieve a decent rating.

My third favorite coaster at the park! I like 2 things about this ride. 1-The airtime (especially on the the third hill). 2-on the spirals look to the person next to you its funny!

Titan is a fantastic ride which is very fun to watch. The first drop and second are awesome, the bunny hills are great, but the best part is the helixes. They are so intense...its crazy. Its arguably the 2nd or 3rd best rollercoaster Ive ever ridden behind Millenium Force and Magnum XL-200. The only problem is the brake runs are extremely abrupt. I have to hold the back of the train to stop my head from banging. The ride is upkept like crud as well, trains are a mess, track is badly painted...its a shame.
