One of the first free-fall rides ever made, Wildcatter is a definite thrill. An elevator brings you up to the top of the tower (this is a bit rough) and you idle at the top for a few seconds (the ride-op who was manning it when I rode it gave a 5 second count down). You then free-fall (getting a good amount of airtime) and then ride the track down until youre laying horizontally. A lift then brings you back to the station. A must ride if youre going to SFOT.

Wildcatter Was the First Demon Drop type Ride ever, and i say its the best. a bit rough when climbing the elavator and when you return but its still fun. Rumors have it that the ride shall be remove later in the season.

I love this ride. You get a good view of Judge Roy Scream at the top. The drop can be a bit rough, but is expected due to its age. It is a shame is is going to be torn down.

Personally, I like this ride better than Superman. I like the top when you are waiting to drop! It is fun to put a penny on you knee too!

The ride last, literally, less than a second. (not counting the chainlift, and return) And while it is quite a thrilling second, I cant give it a high score, and recommend waiting an hour for a second.

Wildcatter isnt my favorite but it gets me every time! Make sure to give it a try once but Superman has now taken this rides job.

I love how this ride works and I love to just sit and watch it. Oh yeah, I like to ride it too. It feels like that nightmare about being in a falling elevator. The drop is nice and its neat when it pulls you back down to the loading area.

despite the fact Ive had bas experiences on this ride, its still a lot of fun. heh...ill give it a 9.

Try putting pennies on your knees and watching them fly when you drop. Or look at Judge Roy Scream as you drop, it looks like it freezes. This is a pretty good drop ride, kind of rough, but its nothing now that we have Superman TOP here.

I love Wildcatter soooo much but since its such an overdone design, it gets one point off, just like my review for Demon Drop (Cedar Point). But this is unlike Mr. Hydes Nasty Fall (SF Worlds Of Adventure) which is the same design an got an 8. Maybe its because of where it is on the tree-lined midway which makes it seem higher. Whatever it is, Wildcatter seems to be better than Mr. Hyde
