This coaster has some airtime, but is minimized by the trims. Often, one trains operations are used, so ride early.

High Roller is an okay ride. It has some airtime, but most of it is taken away by the trim brakes. The last hill has a nice moment of ejector air. I would recommend riding it, but go to HR first thing in the morning as it can quickly produce wait times that aren't worth it.

The High Roller is wood out back roller coaster. It was built by IAD in 1976. It is 70' tall, 2,982' long. It is fast, fun, rerideable, it has a long duration, and a large capacity.

Its an average old wooden rollercoaster. Cant ask too much of it. Its a good starter coaster though.

Not so bad. A little rough and the airtime was a little dissapointing but it is a classic and it was good to ride a wooden coaster that actually felt like a wooden coaster.

APPEARANCE-6 Looks a little worn out, but I really liked the layout. CAPACITY-5 One train when I was there and that is just not a good thing. RIDE QUALITY-5 The potential for a good ride is all over this thing but just like almost every coaster here the brakes ruin it. FUN-7 The layout still produced fun for me and a longing of what it would feel like to be let loose. RERIDE-7 If I ever go again I will give it another try. OVERALL-30 AVG-6.0 Neck and neck with the Corkscrew for third best ride, but the corkscrew is as good as it can be and this is a shell of what it could be. VF let your rides breathe.

I guess they have changed this coaster over time. It is clear that is has been retrofitted with a single seat belt, but it still has no seat divider.

However, neither is really necessary for this tame coaster. It glides along the track nicely but doesnt really provides any thrilling moments.

Its not the greatest coaster ever, and not even close to being the greatest woodie but it will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was the first coaster I ever went on.

This ride has been braked so hard that it is a kiddie ride compared to its former self. I dont think VF wants any airtime any more. A friend of mine rode it alone last year and the ride got STUCK on the turnaround brake because it was braked so hard. The park braked it so hard during the Coaster Craze ERT its pathetic! :-(
