After looking through some of the reviews for this little coaster, it seems that the reviewers fall into two distinct camps when it comes to Laser - they either love it as a fine example of Anton's great work, or they loathe it and find it to be a grave disappointment. Well, place me firmly into the former group. I find Laser to be a real treat from a coaster standpoint, and dare I say that this may be the coaster that packs the most punch for one of this modest size. Sure, Laser may look like it could be picked up and taken to someone's back yard, but that doesn't matter. The ride is a buffet of forces, and I am glad to don my bib and gorge myself on them with shear delight!

The ride itself looks pretty trippy with the neon green and purple color scheme. It's a bit loud, but I still like it. As others have stated, this thing has to win the award for the slowest lift hill on the planet! LOL I'm not sure why it is so dang slow, but it's a quirky quality that I laugh off and enjoy. Besides, lines are never that long for it, so it's really no big deal at all to me. The first twisting drop is classic and filled with the kind of tight forces that make these Anton coasters so amazing and priceless. With a good bit of speed now built up, Laser tears through the highlight of the ride - those devilishly intense back-to-back vertical loops that are brimming with G's and probably some of the most intense loops you will find anywhere. After that there are a couple helixes to close out the coaster, and each is very forceful. There is not one dead spot on the course, and the only real negative in my mind is how short the ride really is. Still, one has to appreciate the raw nature of these coasters of his, as they are not shy about pushing the intensity up a few notches. Overall, I feel Laser is a great complement to the newer coasters that are sprinkled over the rest of Dorney Park. It is loads of fun, and extremely thrilling along its compact course. This great little coaster packs a nice little wallop, one that is appreciated even more with each ride. So often recently this ride is rumored to be up for sale, and I for one would be sad to see it go. Coasters like this one are a rare jewel in a time where aggressiveness is usually frowned upon in favor of precise computerized elements that are geared to be thrilling, but not "overly intense". This coaster is more than worthy of a few rides when visiting Dorney, and in our constant quest to find treasured coasters, Laser is like finding a chest full of gold.

Laser was a decent Schwarzkopf coaster. Dorney has a cruddy operating policy where you cant choose your seat and must fill the front of the train, so I was obviously upset. The ride itself had a decent first drop and two very powerful loops. After that were two speedy and G-producing helixes, but after that the ride was over. The ride was pretty smooth throughout, but it was really loud and pretty short.

Oh, come on. The ride wasnt that bad. Its just that the ride has a slow lift hill and a short ride time. But you have to admit that those loops are STRONG. I completely blacked out after exiting the second loop. But they were fun. The first drop is nice too, but there wasnt much else to the ride other than some sharp curves. This ride seems to be portable since it isnt even attached to the ground. The ride just sits on some hunks of wood. So the rides appearance really sucks, but big deal. Its a good ride that you should probably ride a couple of times to make the most out of the loops.

As a fan of the Scorpion at BGA had a lot of hope for this ride. APPEARANCE-4 Bad location and the temporary feel is annoying. CAPACITY-5 We were the only ones in line so it is hard to judge. I take points off here for the fact that you had to take the first seats since no one else was there to ride it. RIDE QUALITY-4 Never felt anywhere close to the speed of Scorpion and that lift hill thing is just inexcusable. Lopps felt less forcefula nad the curves were bumpy. FUN-3 If it wasnt for laughing at the ride it would have offered even less fun. Just very sterile in my opinion. RERIDE-2 If I was with Jay or Joe I would ride again other then that no way. OVERALL-18 AVG-3.6 I will agree with my other travel partners on this trip and give it a three. That being said I hope they dont remove it for Steel Venom as the park should be able to fit SV without sacrificing a coaster most people enjoy.

I love this ride, the lift is slow, but one you are on the ride, what hurry are you really in? The loops and the turns are fast and forceful, it is a rather short ride, but that just makes for a shorter wait time. I wish they would put this thing into the ground though, the way it is now, it just makes it easier to get rid of.

Just a bad ride all around. The lift hill is just slow. The loops are ok at best. Its the worst coaster in the park by far. I would not ride it again.

Absolutely horrible. This made the Double Loop look like the best ride ever. I actually though we were not going to make it even down hill, it was awful. I was glad to be off!

This was my first ride of the day at Dorney. The coaster was the next best thing to a nutritious breakfast to start my day. The coaster didnt look like too much, but it is quite an intense ride and fairly smooth considering it isnt anchored as a permanent coaster normally is.

this is my least favorite coaster ever
last year my friends and i get to this coaster and they put us in the middle
whatever...we wanted front but lets not let that ruin the ride right?
ok so this is gonna rock i cant wait
until suddenly
oh crap?, is this all i get? a stupid lap bar?
where is anything at all?
they expect us to do loops like this?!
we were scared sugarless (for lack of a better uncensored word)
so we get going scared and shaking in the already shaking coaster...
slowly, slowly, slowly it made me think of the little engine that could
so then we finally get to the top and go flying down
whiplash, hurt neck, stomach ache
not worth it
it throws you into the seat so much that it actually makes you put your head down
its not enjoyable and your just praying for it to end
i dont recoomend this coaster to anyone
just dont go on it
youll be happier if you dont
