We watched the Nights of Fire fireworks just before closing from the observation deck. Great view of them. Also neat to see the lighted park laid out below at night.

Well-done; very attractive structure and the view is gorgeous! The elevators do their job fairly quickly as well.

Very different from anything I have ever seen at a park. It is neat that you can stay up a long as you like and really take your time to soak in the view. It also holds a lot of people up there. One thing I must say is that I&#39.m not really sure if I would call this a ride. It is more like a viewing platform, sopmething you find in a city. Just don&#39.t stay up all day, there are many fun rides out there. But really neat.

Paramounts Eiffel Tower is a beautiful icon easily seen from the highway and a great way to begin your day at Paramount Kings Dominion. Located near the main entrance at the end of International Street, the Eiffel Tower is taller than any other attraction in the park. Standing 332ft tall, the Eiffel Tower has a faded teal paint job. Around the Eiffel Towers base is great landscaping with nice trees and a beautiful garden. Running two elevators, the Eiffel Tower has a great capacity and therefore generally is a walk-on because the elevators can hold a good amount of people. Once you board the elevator, you swiftly ascend the tower and can see some of the trees around you. At the top, you can walk around a circular platform 275 feet in the air. I enjoyed the spectacular view from the top. It was a great way to see the parks layout, the outstanding roller coasters, and how busy the park is. Also at the top are binoculars that guests can use for a quarter. My favorite attraction to look at was Volcano-the Blast Coaster. Watching the train shoot out of the volcano was amazing from high in the air. You are allowed to walk around the platform for as long as you want. At night the view is even more amazing as you can see the park illuminated by all the lights. When youre done, you wait for an elevator and then descend to the bottom as quickly as you ascended it. An added plus is that the elevators are air-conditioned. Overall, an excellent way to see Paramount Kings Dominion and I highly recommend the Eiffel Tower to any first comer to the park to see the parks layout and crowd distribution. Also, this is a great relaxation ride.

What more could you want here? Its a great ride, and you get a FANTASTIC walk around view at the top. This is the first thing that people see when they are comming to Kings Dominion, and has been for 30 years. Only problem is the elevator is sometimes very crammed up and one time the "guide" was very rude, and basically was screaming her ears off trying to tell us all the information she was supposed to be telling us. I do hope for bigger and better things in the future for Kings Dominion, (especially from the roller coaster department!) but I hope that the Eiffel Tower is always the tallest landmark in the park. It always has, and always should be.

This tower gives very good theming to the park and it gives a good view of the parks layout.

This is a beautiful tower looking over the beautiful entrance area of the park. Much better than an average "picture taking" tower. This gives a great view for pictures and gives you a chance to rest your legs and get a nice breeze on a hot day.

It has always been a tradition of mine to hit the Eiffel Tower first to start the day off. Plus, it is a PKD icon and you cant pass it up. Lately, Ive been using it as a means to watch the area where our new roller coaster is suspected to be built next year

Though not a thrill machine, or something to get you drenched, the Eifel Tower is a respectable landmark. The view from the top is nice, and it provided a nice plateau to take aerial photographs. The structure is ok, a good scale model of the original, which I still dont find to be an aesthetic structure. The Tour d is like a giant beacon for the park, and it can be seen approaching from both directions on I95, which is why I view it as such a landmark. Other than that, I cant really say much, though I would suggest that you take a ride up once when you visit, and it is a great way to kill some time between when the gates open to International Street and when the park opens throughout.
