This Disko coaster was fun, rerideable, fast, had a large capacity, long ride duration, and was nicely themed to space.

It was fun but it went too high.

An excellent flat ride! I was sad to see the Flying Carpet go, but I have to say, this one is even better. It is thrilling, while not being to intense or jarring. The ride itself is smooth and fast, and the element of spinning the opposite way while zooming along a half-pipe-shaped track is very invigorating and fun. The only problem I have is the nut-cracker element with the restraints (Gentlemen, you know what Im talking about), but that can hardly subtract even one point. Overall, a great flat ride for easy-goers and hardcore thrill seekers alike.

This was my first ever Disk-O ride, and I thought it was excellent! The little bit of alien theming was well done, and the ride itself was great. The ride is comfortable to ride, and there are some great thrills and unique sensations on Cosmic Chaos. No two rides are the same, which is a big plus for a flat ride. As is a Kennywood norm, the ride cycle was also nice and long. Cosmic Chaos is a winner, and a fine replacement for the departed Flying Carpet.

Great Disk-O thats certainly a great replacement for the Flying Carpet. The space theming was certainly a nice touch and the spinning on this one was excellent, as it was fast and had good Gs. I also got some air on this one and the cycle was decent as well.

What a fun ride, and the theme is excellent. I hope more parks start to put these up. My only complaint about the ride is that it replaced the Flying Carpet, which was one of my favorite rides at the park.

Well, I will admit that I was disappointed to see the Flying Carpet go, but now that I have ridden its replacement I can say with full confidence that Kennywood made the right call. Cosmic Chaos is an excellent flat ride and a wonderful more modern addition to the parks awesome flat ride selection. This was my first opportunity to ride one of the Mega Disk-Os, and frankly Im surprised that more parks dont have one. Chaos provides just enough thrills to please the thrill seekers, yet it is not overly intense and is a ride that most of the family can enjoy together, which has been a staple with many of Kennywoods flats. The alien theming is subtle and cute, and done just right to accent the ride. The ride cycle is fairly long, and you get some great sensations as the disk travels to the peak 50 foot ends of the U-shaped track. With the spinning of the disk, you get totally unique ride experiences on rerides, which is a huge plus! It reminds me a bit of the Frisbee flats out there in that regard, and those are also high on my list. Overall, Cosmic Chaos provides a great ride experience and is a welcomed addition to the park. The ride is a must on a visit to the park, and should be enjoyed by most everyone, unless of course one has an aversion to spinning (although, the spinning on Chaos is rather mild). We Kennywood fans are very glad that these extra terrestrials decided to land their ship in West Mifflin!
