A frog hopper on steroids thats it

This was one of the worst Tower rides I have been on. no better the the frog hopper in fact Im torn on which is better the Drop zone of the Frog hoppers. The rides hight is OK around 50ft, it isnt anything worth writing home about. The movement was ok but the drops were unimpressive never taking advantage of the rides hight and the drops seemed empty. The seats were very uncomfortable as well. worth a ride to check it out but not a must ride at the park.

APPEARANCE: Drop Zone certainly looked new, but it also had a carnival feel to it like most of their rides. Also, the ride wasnt nearly as intimidating as the other towers Ive been on, as the ride was only 40-50ft tall.

WAIT TIME: Walk On- Like Ive said in my other reviews, the parks low crowds mean no waits for almost all of their attractions. Loading was decent as well.

RIDE: For its size it was decent. There were five sets of drops, with the final two dropping the whole length of the tower. The drops gave a decent stomach dropping sensation and occasionally a little air, but the drops just seemed slow to me and the ride was quite bumpy throughout. However, the views of the beach at the top were pretty good.

FINAL VERDICT: It turned out to be my second ride in the park, but thats just because I really like drop towers. But honestly this drop tower was pretty poor when compared to other drop towers. Still its worth a ride and good for building up courage to ride bigger and better towers.
