This is a childhood attraction that will always be remembered. While the ride is not great, the experience is what make it. The fact that those who normally can't drive now can.

Theres really nothing much to say about this ride...You "drive" a Autopia car on a track around a scenic track. The lines for this ride can get horrible during the summer, I remember it was about a 90 minute wait during the summer. If the line is short, its a nice ride to enjoy the scenery and/or to take a break on. Kids love this ride, and they get a Autopia Drivers license before they board the ride. If you can, try to get one of the sport looking cars....I think they go faster.

Just a normal turnpike ride. Good for kids.

The Autopia cars are a staple at Disneyland, loved by many and hated by just as many others. I very rarely ride them myself, due to the line always being so unbelievably long. Why is this ride consistently so crowded? Well, the recent upgrade certainly helped, with the Chevron talking car theme added, a much longer ride duration, and better scenery throughout, including an "off road" stretch of track. You still are confined to a strict path, the speed is pretty minimal, youre not supposed to bump, and the ride really doesnt belong in Tomorrowland at all. But despite all of its faults, one just cant deny that the Autopia is a long-standing Disney classic.
