This is a good exhibit to start your day at the park. There are some unique animals and the scenery is beautiful.
Good walk through area with alot of animals and scenery.
This is the very first animal area you come to at Animal kingdom. its very much like any zoo you can find throughout the US. Good selection of animals. I particularly liked the Hippo habitat. and like any Disney park the landscaping was great.
Good Exhibits, They should have some more unique animals.
Nice exhibits. It is cool to start the day looking at animals! Top Notch Themeing
Good animal exhibits and a nice way to start your day at the animal kingdom. The anteater is real cool.
This is a small area that you pass through upon entering/exiting the park. Theres no real rhyme or reason to the creatures that inhabit it, and the enclosures are ok, but not great. (I never thought "oh no, this is cruel for the animals", but they all have the look of "generic zoo enclosure".) The animals themselves are an exotic bunch - hyacinth macaws (beautiful), rhinocersos iguanas, anteaters - that are certainly worth checking out. The area is small, so save 10 minutes on your egress and youre good. At times, cast members may also be there showing off arthopods like tarantulas and giant millipedes.
Since Disney doesnt want to advertise the fact that it really is a zoo(AZA) they group their animals into themed areas with massively good theming. I believe this area is toward the front of the park and once again delivers good theming, but average animal areas.
