It's your average SF flume. Wait in a longer than you'd like line (especially on long days) to up and drop down once. I always get FAR more wet just standing on the bridge over the drop than riding the drop itself. When it comes to flumes, there's 'Splash Mountain,' 'Jurassic Park: the Ride' and then there's everything else. This does nothing to change that fact. Okay, maybe if you're a male and riding with a boat full of pretty ladies it's worth the line wait for a drop.

6= a pretty mediocre flume ride that ends in a giant wave. Skip this and ride log jammer instead unless your goal is to get absolutely soaked.

Tidal Wave is just a large flume ride. It used to seem much larger and higher pre 1998. But then its height factor changed when its much taller neigbor moved in next door (The Riddlers Revenge). Not to dog Riddler (its a fav of mine), but it did ruin Tidal Wave.lol. But Riddler was worth the kill of Tidal Wave. Anyway, a nice way to get wet on a hot day. If the ride fails to get you wet... Theres always the bridge to stand on...

P.S. to the other review of this ride. Ill take the dry heat any day over that wet crap that the east coast has. Hate Humidity!

A very poor excuse for a giant flume ride, especially since its located at the dryest theme park in America.
