Worst boomerang Ive been on. This one unfortunately runs Arrow trains! Yikes! And yes they hurt like crazy and gave a ride more uncomfortable than any other boomerang Ive been on. All of the inversions had major headbanging and the drops didnt seem as fast on this one as well.

First off I would like to say that I am only 5 5". I am rating this ride based on how it felt to me, and I understand that taller people my have issues. This was also my first boomerang so I am going to rate the boomerang mainly as the design because I have nothing to compare it to. With that out of the way Ill give the review. I waited in line for only about 15 minutes. The line moved pretty fast and there were very many cars which made loading move the line pretty fast. I got on and when the restraints were released I pulled them over and fount they fit just fine. My only concern at the time was that the sides were pretty hard and banging my head on them would hurt. Going backwards on the lift, this has got to be the slowest lift I have been on. It adds some fun to it in a way, but I think it should be faster. Release was fun, and I must say I found the forwards drop pretty nice and floaty. The cobra roll element was also pretty fun, though as hard as I tried to brace I still managed to hit my head on the side of the headrest pretty hard. The loop was nothing special but had pretty great gs on it. Catching on to the backwards lift gives an enormous jolt which hurt a little. The drop backwards was very fun and I felt like I was light as a feather. That soon changed on the loop which once again had high gs, although for some reason Silver Bullet- which usually is said to be forceless- seemed to have more on the first that day. The backwards cobra roll was also pretty fun if not a little forgettable. The brakes were fine at first but gave a nasty jolt at the end before we moved to the original positions. All in all, I find Boomerang to be a pretty fun and a somewhat smooth ride other than the brakes and second lift hill. It seems to be a sort of underrated ride to me, but then again I have not ridden one before. This ride is recommended, but I would not wait more than 25 minutes for it.

I hate Vekoma, but I did give this ride a fair chance. There is no redeeming quality to this coaster. It has that boring boomerang layout, and restraints that didnt fit me properly. I was too tall for it, and Im no Lurch. Im barely over 6. My shoulders were pinched down the entire time. What a joke. The ride itself didnt seem too rough, but I still got a little hurt from the lousy OTSRs.

Dont call it a clone - correct me if Im wrong, but this is the original boomerang... others are cloned from this. On a recent ride I didnt find it to be nearly as rough as some tpc reviewers, just a tiny bit on the backwards part. (OK, and a bit of a jolt when you came to a stop.) Other than that, pretty smooth. It offers the standard elelements - high, slow lift-up to start, a couple good loops, then backwards - but theyre good if not great elements. And this old coaster still looks fresh, too. Ill give it some love.

ouch ouch ouch!!! The old Arrow train is what makes this Boomerang, a type of ride which I generally enjoy, horrible. The restraints are hard and pressed firm against my shoulders, too firm to start with, and on the second spike, I think it managed to go down another notch. The ride otherwise is very typical - ok forwards, pretty cool backwards. It was one of the rougher ones and combined with the trains, I cant rate it too high.

This was my second Boomerang (third if you count an invertigo) and it is an experience which I hope to soon forget. The ride started out normal, but when we came to the hill after the verticle loop, things got ugly. The brakes hit hard and my knees slammed into the front part of the car, causing bruises on my shins. After that heavy braking, the backwards ride was utterly painful. A sore neck and bruised shins are the reason for me giving this ride sub-par score.

It is a standard boomerang coaster with nothing too unique about it. If you are pretty short (less than 56" like I was when I rode it a few years ago, then it is not too bad of a ride. As long as you keep your head back and in the center, you could enjoy this ride without too many aches and pains.

The best vekoma Ive been on. Very smooth and good enough to ride again and again. Best from the very front or very back.

Its fun, just make sure to keep your head back. The drops are great but its a real headbanger. It would have been a lot better if it was smoother.

Vekoma boomerangs are a dime a dozen these days, but this was the original to me. I dont have a problem with this ride like some people do. It can be pretty intense, but usually I find the only part that bangs your head is the cobra roll, while traveling backwards. My favorite part remains the slow ascent backwards up the lift hill, then the drop back down it. I like the back of the train the best so I get to experience the longest drop. However, Deja Vu, the super inverted boomerang coaster, completely blows this out of the water.
