A good rollarcoaster kinda rough but I enjoyed it. Its pretty sad that the operators have to push the train through the station and use sandbags to weigh the train down. Its an ok coaster.
This is a very average ride for the most part, other than one very sudden surprise known as the first drop. Looking at a Zyklon, would you expect any air on the first drop? I wasnt expecting any air and I got major ejector air that launched me sky high. However, after that the ride failed to match the intensity of the first drop and was pretty lackluster. The helixes on this one were very weak and the forces during them were non-existant. Hey for Delawares only major coaster, its actually halfway decent.
I actually found this to be better than the SDC galaxis Ive been on. It was mostly because of the air-time filled first drop in the back. It wasnt just a little pop, but real air-time the whole way down. The second drop also provided some air-time. However, after that were two lackluster helixes that arent as good as their SDC counterparts, but they were smooth.
Let me begin by blaming Larry for getting me to step into what is probaly worlds worst amusement park. Seriously if most parks were like this I would take up quilting. It looks like the fair ran out of gas in Delaware, pulled into a parking lot and just decided to stay. No kiddie coaster I have ever rode made me feel like more of a whore then the $8.00 I dropped for this ride. It is not so much that the ride sucked because it was fine, it was where this ride was at that will always leave me with a little dead spot in my heart. I encourage you to avoid this park at all costs, so as to keep the hobby innoncent for as long as possible. This park does to the hobby as an older sibling does to the joys of Santa Claus.
A sweet little coaster, similar to the ones I grew up on. The first drop is nice, even the second ok, and the 2 helixes arent bad. Definitely head for the back seat on this - I screamed on the first hill at the unexpected airtime, and even gasped a little on the second. Lap belts help. Its kinda sad that the operators have to push the train through the station (broken chain, perhaps?) and keep sandbags handy to weigh it down since there were so few riders. After riding the front and middle and waiting and waiting for some other people to join so I could ride the back, a couple operators jumped in front so I could get my ride - it was worth it!
I found this to be a fun little coaster. I stopped here on the way back from great Adventure to make fun of it but i had a good time and got the night pass and rode it 7 times in a row. Also the speed suprised me.
It all started when my parents and I were on our way to Williamsburg. It was early and I was sleeping. :snore: My mom was the first to notice it. She woke me up to see a little amusement park (BDP, of course) and towering above everything there was a coaster that looked like an SDC galaxi, but was actually a Pinfari Zyklon. Fastforward to when my parents and I were on our way home from Williamsburg. I noticed it this time and I asked my mom and dad if we could stop there and they said yes. When I went into the park, the coaster wasnt running, but it started running a little later. So I rode it and it wasnt too bad. The first drop blew me away, but that was the only good part of the ride. The drop almost blew my hat away (because of the airtime) The other parts of the ride were slow and dull. The ride was smooth, I think, but I felt some rumbling on my feet. My only Pinfari coaster, and its worth a go.
