Very nice ferris wheel, especially at night when lit up. Better for those who are intimidated by most ferris wheels, as this one is more of a cabin type ride.
I am scared of most ferris wheels even this one! What makes this one bad is it slow to load, and makes noises on the way up! Being at the top scares me to death!! I want the Giant Wheel back! You never got stuck at the top there!
Typical Chance century wheel. I still miss the Giant Wheel though.
You can see great views from the ferris wheel..but it takes awhile to load and unload and the ride is relatively short..
The ride cycle seemed to be pretty good on the Ferris Wheel, which was good and bad. As mentioned, it became a great photo deck for Lightning Racer and Wildcat, both of which are otherwise hard to capture due to the artistic GCI carpentry. I think we got 5 full spins, including a stop at the top, so hte cycle was fine as far as I was concerned, but we ended up waiting longer for it than Lightning Racer because they only used about half of the gondolas. It was a good beacon for the park, and a perfect centerpiece for that side of the park. It was fairly large and lit up well at night. In the end, it was a pretty good ferris wheel.
Standard gondola ferriswheel forming one of the "anchors" of Midway America. Great part about it... good views of the twisted track of Lightning Racer and some good photo ops of Wild Mouse and Wildcat as well
For whatever reason this state seems to have awesome ferris wheels. This one is no exception except the ride time could be a touch longer. The view is amazing and it shows how wonderful this park is. I really wish I lived closer (11 hrs) because I could go here 5 times a year and still like it.
