If my huge reviews just disappear, Ill make a small one: This is one heck of a water ride and completely unique for the ways PKI designed it around their landscaping. Short lines. Great for hot days and had one of the best drops of any ride period since it was a true gut-wrencher! Just enought splash not to get you soaked.
This was one of the only rides I knew that would let you have such a trip this high up in the trees which made it fairly unique and the drop was unnerving and huge, so its one of the coolest water rides at there. Luckily enough, PKI improved the area even more with Tomb Raider, but I hope this ride is relocated somewhere else. It really feels classic to the park and has a lot of memories.
Being above the trees floating along is a great feature, instead of going along the ground until the lift and drop. Great fun.
kckc rocks its a log flume and it aint there anymore so why am i giving it a ten?.........because I CAN
I always liked this ride when I was little. I Loved floating 50ft in the air amoung the trees and the 50ft drop into the water was awsome. I am sad to see this ride go but I hear it is being taken down to build a new coaster and that is cool.
Im not a fan of KCKC, its been removed for the 2002 attraction but the elevated flumes arent my thing, Id rather be swooping on the ground. The new Wild Thornberries is a VERY fun log flume though.
One of two great Log flumes at PKI. This is a great experience.
Some of the best water rides are the flume rides. Kentons Cove Keelboat Canal is my favorite. it takes you 50ft above the trees, you travel along the twisted trough before plunging down a 50ft water fall. the smell of the crisp cool water on a hot day is overwhelmingly delightfull.
