Farily small for a boat ride, but it did refresh me. I didn'.t get soaked (pretty much just my face and my t-shirt got wet), but our boat was far from full, so I don'.t know if that might change with a fully-loaded boat. There is virtually no theming, which is not entirely suprising, but that fact, combined with its small size, make it one of the weaker boat rides that I have been on (I can think of at least 4 others that are significantly better).
Poor Intamin shoot-the-chute in my opinion. The drop was pretty small and slow, but the splash at the bottom, while small, got me drenched.
With out the bridge its a 6 but because the have the bridge its a 9. Make sure you stand on the bridge.
An amusing ride to help you cool off on a hot day. Too bad it doesnt do much more than lift, turn, and drop, but BOY is that a drop. I usually slide around and lift up out of my seat when it drops. If you want to get wet, sit in the back. If you dont want to get wet, sit in the front, as the water usually goes over you... but the geysers at the end can still get you. Its funny to see people running away from the bridge as you splash down and they are just trying to exit the boat in front without getting all wet again.
This ride is so fun and you get soaked. But if the line is long just stand on the bridge and your sure to get soaked.
no big thing, you go up, you come back down, you get wet
Basic shoot the chute. Nothing special.
This is a great water ride! It has a huge drop and unsuspecting people, such as my dad, get comletely drenched on the bridge over the ride, even more than on the ride itself! The little hill on the middle of the drop makes it even more exciting. Great ride to have in any park on a hot summer day.
YOU WILL GET SERIOUSLY WET. This is not like, a little wet, as in River Rapids wet. First, the splash comes up really high getting yoru sides, then the front of the boat hits water up all over the front of you, by now you are soaking wet all over and praying to Guthix that they dont time the wtaer sprays right (They usually dont.)
Up a hill, turn, down a hill. Thats Congo Falls. It isnt a great ride. The line is usually short and the splash is huge. I could see how it would be very refreshing on a hot summer day. You do get more soaked standing on the bridge than on the ride.
