This ride certainly looks wonderful, and the speed is pretty good. The cycle is a bit short, however.

This is one of the better rides at the park. They run the ride well. There is a good amount of speed unlike many of the rides at the park that seem to operate under their potential. The rides location is OK. It's right at the opening and is one of the first rides you see pulling onto the parking lot.

Doesnt this have a chicken theme? Either way, its a decent musik express kind of ride.

APPEARANCE: The Music Fest looks in top-notch condition as the ride is very clean and the rides paint job is nice. I especially love the rides light package at night because of the mix of colors the park uses.

WAIT TIME: Walk On- Music Fest is always a walk on, even if the park is busy, thanks to its high capacity and very efficient operators. They loaded Music Fest very quickly and didnt joke around.

RIDE: Music Fest is the weakest of the himalayas I have been on. One weird thing about Music Fest is how Quassy distributes the weight. Most parks require the heaviest rider to ride on the outside, but Quassy puts the heavier rider on the inside. That ruins the ride quite a bit as it prevents swinging from occurring. Also, the speed was pretty lackluster. To Quassys credit, they do run this both forwards and backwards, but the cycle is exceptionally short. I only got about 30 seconds in each direction, which is just plain pathetic.

FINAL VERDICT: Music Fest is easily the weakest of the Chance himalayas I have been on thanks to its basically nonexistant swinging, slow speed, and horrendous cycle. If you enjoy himalayas, give Music Fest a shot, but just dont expect too much.

Open-air flat that plays good classic rock like a Musik Express. This ride is run both forward and backward, its fast and is kept up pretty well, unlike most of the other rides at the park.

Standard model carnival flat ride. To the parks credit, unlike the similar Kontiki at Six Flags New England, they do operate it both forward and backward. The ride is in good shape, but the model they bought does not have a very engaging light show.
