A great little coaster that is among the smoothest that I have ever ridden. There are some good, mild, forces to be had too, both laterals and airtime. I really enjoyed this coaster, and will definitely ride it again on future visits to CP.

Wildcat, the devilish little creation from Schwarzkopf, is a hidden gem at Cedar Point, and was easily one of the most pleasant surprises during my first trip out there. This is the coaster equivalent of dynamite, as it is small but packs an incredible wallop! As other reviewers have mentioned, this coaster is so overshadowed here, but dont pass it by in a hurry to board the other steel giants. This cat is worthy of your attention! And with its newer color scheme, its not like you can miss it! LOL Wow, is that some color scheme. Neon green and purple....it works, and its better than the ultra-bland former colors, but it takes some getting used to. Some claim to agonize in long lines for this, but Ive rarely waited more than 15-20 minutes for a spin on Wildcat. I think thats pretty good for a coaster this compact where capacity cant be incredibly high anyway. The coaster "cars" are a nice touch, and I like the look of them. Wildcats greatest asset is its intensity, which is top notch from start to finish. The layout is chalked full of sharp drops (with some sharp little pops of airtime), tight turns, and some ending helices that are packed full of forces. This feline has some jump in his step as well, as the whole course is navigated at a quick clip. One negative is some of the sudden jolts and stops at a couple points (including a very sudden stop at the end), but that is relatively minor and doesnt hamper the ride experience. Its amazing really how many thrills are packed into such a small footprint. And above all else, Wildcat is a blast to ride. To me, Wildcat is everything that most wild mouse kind of coasters only dream theyd be. It is intense, loads of fun, and very thrilling. Overall its a great ride and a real winner for a coaster that looks so modest. Final Rating – 7.5/10

This coaster is the best portable steel coaster Ive been on. What puts this coaster in front of similar Galaxy or Jetstar coasters are the number of drops, and that each one of them goes right down to the pavement. The helixes also offer some great speed and pack a punch, unlike the long slow ones found on Galaxy coasters. With so many other coasters at CP, I wouldnt want to wait more than 15-20 minutes to ride. But if your there during a slower period and the line is short, definately give it a try.

Very fun little compact coaster that is often overshadowed by Cedar Points giants. The drops as always were very zippy and even provided a few brief pops of air time, and the helixes were very fast and quite forceful. Fun ride though not as good as Cedar Points other coasterrs.

This is a very fun ride as it packs together some quick drops, moderate [but nice] forces, and lateral-heavy helices into a tiny footprint. A great little ride, and dare I said, probably the 3rd best at the Point.

I know many will disagree, but I think this is one of the best coasters at Cedar Point. The drops on Wildcat hit harder than on most of the nearby steel giants. It feels like youre going to be chucked straight out of the coaster in the drops, especially if you have your arms up. As other reviewers have noted, dropping so close to the pavement below definitely enhances the experience. Although I normally despise helices, the helix finale of Wildcat is really good because you pick up a lot of speed without feeling any sense of gray out that larger coasters sometimes induce. You slam into the brake run with a little bit too much force, but they have an op standing by to warn you that this will happen.
Wildcat is also aesthetically interesting because of so much coaster being crammed into a tiny amount of space. The cars are really cool also, as they are designed to look like little cars with headlights and everything. Unfortunately, Cedar Point has painted the Wildcat with some awful purple and yellow scheme that completely clashes with the beautiful cars. I considered subtracting a point for this, but I dont think its the coasters fault.
If I ever get rich, Id consider installing one of these old Schwarzkopfs in my back yard. They really are a blast. Cedar Point never remove this ride, or may spiders nest in your spleen.

This Schwarzy packs a mean punch for a little guy. Not only did I ride this Wildcat, I also rode one at a festival when I was 10. Both coasters are great and fast. Dont be fooled by its size. It packs a whallop. (UPDATE) 7/3/2007: The festival in question was the annual Muskegon Summer Celebration in 1987. I went back this year and alas, they didnt have it no more. Instead it was a generic Dragon Wagon.

A decent little coaster. For me the wait was almost 30 minutes. I took off a point since the sudden brake gave me a neck ache.
