I dunno, when it comes to strictly inverting rides, give me a Zamperla (a la Aero 360 or Meteor) or an enterprise over rides like this. Ranger is just an average flat ride that is only mildly fun and thrilling, thanks in large part to an uncomfortable restraint system coupled with the very "closed in" feeling you get on this. The speed is decent, and you certainly get a cycle that piles on the inverting, but it just does nothing for me. After my one ride on it, I couldnt help but think of just one word to characterize Ranger - meh.

Ranger was a mediocre looping ride that pales in comparison to other models Ive been on. This one had very tight restraints, which resulted in very little hangtime at all. The swings gave some good sensations though, but the looping was rather dull in my opinion, but the restraints hurt the possible hang time it could have had. This one also had a very short cycle.

Well maintained. Fun. Rerideable. Large capacity. and ride duration long.

This looping ship ride looks like its straight out of Roller Coaster Tycoon. Its not super huge, but I found it to be great fun. The restraints come down so tight that at first I thought it would be a miserable ride, but oddly enough it actually made it a somewhat funny experience to be wedged in so forcefully. The arcing back and forth and looping round and round were enjoyable, as always, and the ride operator had no problem giving us several rides without getting off, as no one else was in line. I really found the Ranger, the UFO, and the Silver Bullet to be a unique and winning combo of flat rides over on the right side of the park.

a fun little inverting ship type of ride. Great to watch the expression of other riders on the other end of the ship facing you.

An Inverted Pirate Ship ride. An automatic walk on, almost every time, so dont expect a line since this is a high-capasity ride and is in the back of the park. Watch out for the "restraint system". The operator lets it go down as far as possible and as fast as it can so it feels like someone jamming a medicine ball into your stomach. Its still fun though and it gives you a bit of a rush, especially when they stop you, upside-down at the top.
