A bit slow, but with good swinging movement and not a bad cycle. Pretty enjoyable and rather mild, so not bad for children.
The slowest Matterhorn I've been on. Sometimes the accelerating can be slow. When it was going forward it was a little slow and tame. But the backward part makes it pretty fun overall. They really don't like start this ride unless there are at least five or six people on it, so you could be sitting on there waiting like five minutes for more people to come.
APPEARANCE: The exterior was definitely the rides strong point, as the images on the side looked cool and the rides lights were pretty good. Also, the cars seemed to have a fresh coat of paint.
WAIT TIME: Walk On- It has a high capacity and himalayas are usually walk-ons. Thats no different at Palace Playland. However, loading is an absolute nightmare as the ops take a long time to check each of the restraints.
RIDE: The ride itself was pretty bad as well. It did go both forwards and backwards, but the duration in both directions was quite short. Sadly, this was the slowest himalaya I have been on. Also, there was virtually no swinging as well and it was a tad bumpy at times as well.
FINAL VERDICT: This is definitely the poorest of all himalayas Ive been on thanks to its really slow speed. Only the biggest fans of himalayas would find this ride fun.
This ride was way too fast for my tastes, hard to enter and exit, and the music was too loud.
Nice ride. good speed both foreword and backwards. they swing out a bit but not as much as others out there.
Takes a long time to get to full speed, old style mechanics, motorized wheels just on the inside of the ride propel it.
