It really was only helpful when you are trying to get to Thunder Rapids and Skyride and getting back...

average ride. nice way to get back to the main park from the skyride if there is a no wait walk on and you don't feel like trudging through wall to wall people (the park was jammed the day I visited)

Not in the best of shape (even considering its age), and the old advertisements inside the car were a nice touch, although they were repeated too much inside the car. Certainly less time-effective than just walking to the other station, especially since the loading took a very long time.

Not a huge fan. While it is a classic it is not worth waiting for. if you can walk on, then take it, but in most cases, walking is faster.

I found that I really enjoyed this quirky little attraction because I believe it was not supposed to really serve a purpose. The ride is short and my car was packed and yep it would have been quicker to walk. However the inside of the trolley was very neat with the old adds and traditional lighting. It also allows you the chance although brief to experience a real trolley ride. As a first time visitor to Conn that was the only trolley I got to experience. It gave me a feel of what the ride to a traditional trolley park back in the day was like. It was a totally unique park experience for me and I will score it as such. Although a longer trolley would be much cooler.

Its a good people mover I guess. It brings you like 200 ft. down the midway. Its a classic and all, I just didnt see anyhting special in it.

I wasnt feeling the Trolley. Yes, it is nostalgic, and a throwback to the days in which amusement parks were settled on the ends of suburban rail lines, but I didnt find it to serve much of a purpose. The walk (and therefore ride) isnt all that long, and the wait to board and then load can be longer than the time it takes to walk. The Trolley itself is in great shape and runs well, so that saved it some, but I cant say it gave me much of anything -- the views were the same as the path and it was so quick I didnt even get a chance to use it as a relaxing device, so I think a 5 suits well, or may even be too high.

The Trolley is just an okay ride. Generally it has no wait and is a nice, relaxing way to traving from the main ride section to the area with Thunder River Raft Ride. This is the only park I have been to with an operating trolley to transport you around the park. The track is in a good spot next to the lake giving you a nice view, and is especially nice during sunset. The ride still runs the bells and the capacity is fairly good due to the many rows. Overall, the Trolley is a historic and classic ride at Lake Compounce that is relaxing, but sadly not loads of fun because of the boring layout.

Very relaxing. It is also fairly intersting to look at the ads on the roof of the trolley. A great alterinitive to walking.

This old trolley is in great condition and is still a convenient way of traveling the length of the park. I asked one of the ride ops and she told me that it is something like 94 years old. Its a bit short, but the ride on the trolley is nostalgic and the car is a working antique.
