This was a great wave swinger. Like all wave swingers, this one looked beautiful and I also liked how the swings came close to trees during the ride. Also, this was run at a pretty good speed and there was great wave action on this one. Hershey also ran this with a long cycle.

Great look and a nice location, but not a super fun ride. It scores lots of points for appearance and a relaxing cycle, but I prefer my swings to have a little more zip to them.

The Wave Swinger was a fun swing ride at Hersheypark. Located towards the front of the park across from the Comet in Comet Hollow, the Wave Swinger looks nice. At night the lights are exceptional illuminating the ride with bright lights. Because of a mammoth capacity, the Wave Swinger is generally a walk-on. Like most swing rides this one takes a while to load. My favorite seats are easily the outside ones because they swing out the farthest. When the ride begins, Wave Swinger slowly elevates and begins to increase speed. During the ride, you get a great tilt that provides some fun and strong forces on the downswing. Hersheypark gives a very long ride for the Wave Swinger, and the Great Bear flying by during your ride is fun. Overall, one of the better Wave Swingers I have been on and is better than the one at Knoebels. Anyone who enjoys these swing shouldnt miss the Wave Swinger. The Wave Swinger was my second favorite flat ride at Hersheypark.

Nice swing ride. Pretty fast and not too high. Look at it at night, the lights are wonderful

I liked this ride when I rode it. Its a good way to cool off on a summer day. I also like the view of the park from this ride at the top you can see Comet and Great Bear really well.
