Whipper is a flat ride. It is average speed, fun, rerideable, it has a large capacity, and a long duration.

Another great well-maintained antique ride. Not terribly fast and not as jolting as it looks; very fun. Children should enjoy this as much as adults.

Weak whip in my opinion, especially with all the great ones nearby. The ride looks great, especially the rides sign, and the cars look good as well. Knoebels runs this with a pretty long cycle, but it was just much slower than the other whips Ive been on. Though not completely forceless, there werent really any forces on this one, but the ride was very smooth.

I typical 1020s/1930s Whip. It is admirable that they still run it and maintain the original parts. The larger faster version at Rye/Westchester Playland is better.

This is the best whip I have ever been on. It is old and probably could use some maintanence. This ride is one of Knoebels older rides and came from Croops Glen in Hunlock Creek, PA when it closed in the 40s.

The Whipper is a fun whip at Knoebels that is still a fun ride. Located towards the front of the park to the right, the Whipper is housed within a long arena. Along the top of the building is a neon red sign with the rides name on it. The Whippers floor is slick and there are many cars each seating up to 2 people. Because of the Whippers good capacity, its generally a walk-on. Knoebels loads the Whipper quickly and youre restrained by a lap bar. Beginning the ride is a bell ringing. Slowly traveling down the straightaways, its a fun sensation to be whipped around the tight corners. Put your hands in the air to get a better whip. The turns werent as fast as Rye Playlands Whip, but it was fun. Also, Knoebels ran the Whipper for a long time. Overall, the Whipper is a great classic ride that is much better than the Flying Tigers whip (Zamperla kiddie whip). Anyone who enjoys whips shouldnt miss the Whipper.

This is an awesome vintage flat ride. The ride looks really innocent, but dont judge it by its cover. When going around the curves, the little cars really fly around them--you have to raise your arms while snapping the whip. Laterals would be like Heaven to you. Its also fun just to watch the ride in action. You know, just to see the mechanisms work. Awesome! Another oldie at Knoebels, but it rox.

The Whipper was great fun. I enjoyed riding it and I enjoyed watching the complex mechanics.

Not that great of a whip. It is no where near the same quality of the one at Dorney. This ride is very weak, very smooth, not too intense, and you seem to get into the groove of the whipping action after the first whip. It is about on par with The Whip at Hersheypark. It could be better, especially compared to other rides in the park.

Though not quite as good as Dorneys (my first whip) I still enjoyed the Whipper. They ran it pretty good and pretty long, but the whipping action just wasnt the same to me. Maybe Im wrong, but thats what I saw. Still an amusement park classic that infatuates me and I still enjoyed it. *ding* This review is now over, please proceed to the exit and enjoy your day at TPC.
