Kraken tries to copy Medusa but its just not as good. Its made cheaply and the ride is a little too rough for a floorless coaster.

cheaply? rough? a copy of Medusa? You revin the right ride? THERE NOTHING ALIKE. There both made my B&M. Why would they copy themselves?

I have never been on Kraken and maybe it is a good ride but they might try to copy Medusa to save on R.D. costs.

I dont really get that but, No the layouts are nothimg alike.

It is the same track layout theres very few differences and the only reason why it looks different is b/c they added some scenery. They are exactly the same they start off with the twisted drop that goes into the loop followed by the barrel roll followed by a boomerang....then the two corkscrews. This ride is a pale imitation and it is def not better than medusa.... in fact its rougher

B&Mallways has a drop out of the station if thats what you mean, but the first drop is not twisted. Ive been on both they are not alike.

Um i did ride it and i did not say it was terrible thats why a gave it a six. Maybe if you had a brain you would understand what I am saying....and whats really sad is that your obsessed with this coaster. You know there are other coasters out there....but obviously you never been anywhere else since all you talk about is kraken( which you spelled wrong lol)...Medusas the better coaster sorry bye bye

Chill! This isnt a challenge of knowledge or money (how much money someone makes should not even be brought up on this site). Just because someone has not been to a lot of parks doesnt mean they do not know anything about roller coasters. You just need to change your attitude about this!

Basil Im not done reviewing my rides either i still have my california parks to do i went there this summer and i have a ton to review...ok think before you say something...xtremefan there are so many similarities...for example kraken has the same exact grand finale as Medusa and I couldnt care if its B&M I am not a fan of clones...youll see that in my reviews...and im pretty critical on rides....Ive given quite a few bad reviews i.e. Viper...Mr. Freeze...Batman the Ride....a 6 isnt bad people you need to calm down...there were thrills on this ride it just didnt satisfy me okay...lmao calm down...ummm yeah coaster redneck you do that once again u have made another embarassing post the jokes on you...and too bad if im mean its the way i am

whats bad about sfne is 1. bad coasters...2. lack of any theming...3.barely any rides and a complete waste of money as well as time...and medusa is not the only ride i like....theres montu...kumba....coney island cyclone....top gun...theres a lot of rides

Tom, I went to a camp and my best friend that I found there is from Vermont (Northeast) and he used the word "dude" all the time and it was perfectly normal. By the way, the camp was near Springfield, Illinois.

Actually, I go there everyday.....I lived there during college for 6 years(i went grad school) and I moved to the suburbs to get a larger house....in fact to Long Island....Im only about 20 miles from NYC and yes I hang out there on weekends and go to clubs and stuff like that....No Miami doesnt have renecks those people are cool...and i dont care how much money you have i realized that i got out of hand here, but what you said is very offensive and guess what offensive languauge is not allowed outside of rants and raves so I suggest you edit that comment....also if you were a real New Yorker you would talk in such a way because I already can tell you are not from the city because your demeanor and is defintelty not sophisticated....anyways back to coaster talk.....Medusa is better because it is smoother.....and by the way next time you actually lie about where you live try to look up the way the people talk because I as a New Yorker can tell easily you do not live in the city

Correction...I grew up in the city, but now I live in the suburbs... and am attending college in Miami. However my sister lives in the city and I consider NYC a second home to me because I can navigate through it like the back of my hand. I know more people and places that you will ever know. Lol...I am not technically "from" NY. I am from Larchmont. I mean to bring up distance is quite irrevelent. It takes me 35 mintutes to get to the city. I never hit traffic, cuz I know which ways to go at different times. The fact you say you go to the city everyday and dont live there is next to impossible. I on the other hand did go to the city everyday when I was younger, because my sister was a broadway actress and I was always backstage with my parents. My childhood was basically in NY. So living in little ol Larchmont means crap. And I fully understand what racism is and what you were saying before was in fact racist. Now maybe in fact you do spend a lot of time in the city, but that still doesnt explain your attitude toward other people. And in the end after this is all said and done, Kraken is still the better ride...

Actually if you fully read this he was racist. I felt I needed to put my foot down to such a commment. That would be comment 74. He also discusses money which is not right. This page is quite different from most pages and RD can agree with me on that one...

I did not enter this conversation because of his review for Kraken, I came into this discussion cuz of the way he was arguing. He talked about rednecks, money, and the kitchen sink. He shouldnt have said those things so I came in and deffended my fellow NYers. Not all NYers are bigots, racists, prejudice- call it whatver you want, thats not the point. Kraken isnt a clone. It has a drop, loop, dive loop, camel back, cobra roll, loop, and ends with ONE corscrew. Get it straight RETARD!

Way to bring up a review that was in 2001. Almost all of these members dont even come around anymore.

What I have found most interested while glancing through this review though is that it is so old...and yet, I do remember this review, and I am actually in this comment area, as the user Basil (long story, but I actually had an account previously that went funny on me, and I have used this username ever since). Those were the days though...go to see all those people "preserved" in here.
