Review of Batman The Ride @ Six Flags Great Adventure
-1 Rating Posted by: NYCTom on 9/2/2001 7:52:00 PM
Batman is probably B&Ms worst ride. It is very uncomfortable and the only good part is the drop. The rest of the ride is terrible because it is so squished together. The ride will hurt your neck and the theming is depressing.

This ride had great theming. It fit the scene perfectly. I give props to any ride at Six Flags that has theming, cuz most dont have theming...

it is good and bad theming. gotham city is suppose to be like that but its sad that medusa is themed as a mining company when its based on a greek god.

Actually Batman the Ride was the second Invert. It opened on 3/27/93. Top Gun at Six Flags Great America opened on 3/19/93. Close but no cigar

and u shouldnt always go wit what rcdb says- no ur own info- cuz batman was the 1st!

XtremeFan8 - Please give us the name and publisher of the B&M book you have so we can check it out. RCDB is the most accurate database in the coaster world. You made a serious mistake on Intamins the other day. I am a bit sceptical. Keep in mind Xtreme reemed someone because he said the was only 1 Intamin Stand-up. There are actually 5. He also trie to make people beleive the were no Intamin Stand-ups. The are 8. There are so many places to check these wild claims out, but Xtreme keeps posting this bogus info.

ok- batman was actually introduced in 92- book title: the american roller coaster//// by: scott rutherford//// publisher: MBI publishing-it does a sectiion on each coaster desginer of our time! on pg.150 i quote "B&M rocked the amusment industry when it introduced the inverted-coaster concept at six flags great america(chicago) in 1992. batman- the ride features a swooping 10 story first drop followed by two vertical loops, a zero-g heartline spin, and a pair of intense corkscrews." if u still disagree- go cry to the MBI publishing company, discovery channel, and other offical companies! not ur rcdb! and a word to u- y dont u findout ur own info- i rarely use rcdb! ever! and i no way more than u bout coasters!
