I love this coaster. This is an amazing ride. Smooth, fast, great airtime, gs, length everything about this ride is top-notch. I would not make this coaster any smoother. Its almost too smooth!!! Hypersonic I heard is ultra smooth...Who cares? You are on a ride here. You do want to feel some movement of the car. However if ur lookin to get thrown around on Nitro, dont think about it. Desperado was a little rough, but not a reason to not like it. Nitro perfects the Hyperc in every way, even though there are similar rides. The view is not as amazing as the other Hyper I rode, Desperado, due to the fact that we are in the middle of Jersey, blah. Hell, this is still 5th all time on my top ten list and I have ridden a couple of rides in my time. It should deffinitly be somewhere on ur list too after you ride it.

For me, the placement of the coaster around a forest of trees is cool. Almost every hill is above the treeline and the open sides make you feel as if you are flying. This coaster has everything the Hypercoaster fan could want, Big drops, wicked curves, that wonderful spiral, and the bunny hops at the end of the ride. Fell in love with this coaster the first time I rode.

Hmmm...I agree with you about the flying element, but the trees didnt do that much for me. I think the feeling of flying came from the ride itself and not the trees...

This was a great ride, but the hills after the 1st drop were too big. This made the trains slow down at the top a little bit, lessening the airtime. Its still great, though.

on the way back to the station after the breaks the train was crusing over those camelbacks. i found there to be tons of air time. if you think about it, nitro is three coasters in one-- hyper, speed and air. the drop is the hyper part, before the breaks is the speed and after is the air.

I agree sfnesros. I wish Nitro had more continious speed like the intamin hypers. Th hills are just a little too high after the 1st. I do love the bunny hills at the end though. I think they are the best around.

Hypersonic is INCREDIBLY smooth- I didnt feel the slightest bump. I cant wait to get a ride on Nitro though- it sounds totally awesome!
