Amazingly this is the same review you gave to Pittsburgh plunge. Do you take any pride and time in what you are doing on this site.

i know its the same cuz they are both basic why did i need to reword it and by the way i do take pride in what i say on this site so dont try to call me out like that. i just thought thats all i needed to say about those basic rides at a basic park like kennywood.
tauren_man on 5/21/2007 5:35:33 PM said:
How can you call Log Jammer basic? It is one of the most beautiful Log Flumes in the world, NOT encased in a block of cement, and also rides along in the treetops. Even if you think the hills could have been bigger, or the ride could have been longer, the Log Jammer is nothing short of spectacular.

no its a nice length and i do like how it goes through the trees its just i prefer themed water rides and theme parks.
tauren_man on 5/23/2007 8:32:12 PM said:
Idk, the only way I could prefer a themed water ride to LJ is a Dark Ride Crossover.
metssuck on 5/26/2007 10:39:35 PM said:
tauren man have you ever rode splash mt. or escape from pompeii?
mrceagle on 5/27/2007 1:55:19 AM said:
Met Splash Mountain is a Dark ride crossover your both referring to the same ride. Escape from Pompeii is a dark ride crossover of Shoot-the-Chute ride not a flume. there is a reference.
metssuck on 5/27/2007 10:32:40 AM said:
well then are most themed water rides dark ride crossovers? well i would prefer le scoot and daredevil falls to log jammer and they are themed and not dark ride crossovers.
mrceagle on 5/27/2007 1:51:58 PM said:
No they are themed rides. And yes they are not dark rides. They have a logging theme similar to basically every other Flume in the world except a scattered few. but you seem nearly incapable of Finding merit in Rides outside of the major chain theme parks. I just dont get what your complaint it. Kennywood is an amazing park. yes its not a theme park but they have worked harder them many of the parks to keep tradition. they are better then twice the age of Disney, universal and Busch. and they own 4 other parks. Not to mention this ride is operating really well for a 32 year old Flume.
metssuck on 5/27/2007 10:45:09 PM said:
they do a good job at keeping the tradition and the log jammer is a nice flume its just in my opinion themed water rides are just head and shoulders above the basic ones. this is an opinion website.
tauren_man on 5/28/2007 11:51:37 AM said:
mrceagle, what 4 parks does Kennwood own? I just know 2, Idlewild and Sandcastle... And just about every logging-themed Log Flume I have seen was: wait for it... ENCASED IN A BLOCK OF FRIGGIN CEMENT!!!
mrceagle on 5/29/2007 12:44:42 AM said:
Kennywood ent. own. Idlewild and Sandcastle like you said. Then there is Riverplax which is next to Sandcastle. but thats not a park. Come up to New England you have Lake Compounce and The recently purchased Story Land in Glen NH. that actually totals 6 properties. 5 parks! Tauren are you preferring the Fiberglas troughs to the cement troughs. by the way Splash mountain uses cement troughs. Met more trying to keep a debate going. Have you found any traditional flume you have liked. If not you should make your way up to New England.

I know that I like cement troughs more than fiberglass troughs for some reason. Maybe I like cement more than fiberglass because it looks more permanent. Fiberglass makes it look cheap.
metssuck on 5/29/2007 3:59:25 PM said:
i like this flume and its traditional and other than a few signs in the queue and the sawmill le scoot is pretty traditinal as well and i like it so ya i do like some traditional flumes. what flumes are up in new england that are so good. by the way i changed my comment so it wouldnt get anymore complaints and not be identical to the pitt. plunge review.

why is that goodat69 you perverted fag.
mrceagle on 5/30/2007 6:09:49 PM said:
Thare - my like for cement Troughs is that they are worked into the ground and fit into the environment more. Its less like installed, I guess. met - Much better. still short but the Explanation about the drop helps understand the drop in points. as for New England Flumes all but 2 are cement troughed. Most are OD Hopkins designs. One older one is fiberglass but up on the mountain side with wood supports (LC). Canobies has 2 drops (18 and 45), Funtown has New En glands largest drop (55), story land had a smaller one but its larger drop is built on the hill ride. Santas Village is very long and all in the woods. only 2 sections an be seen on the ride.
thare on 5/30/2007 6:18:54 PM said:
Yeah, I agree with your reasoning on the different troughs. For some reason I really like cement over fiberglass.
mrceagle on 5/30/2007 6:24:28 PM said:
i mean not every fiberglass Flume is bad there are some good ones. but the cement flumes I have been on even he shorter ones have been far better.
metssuck on 5/30/2007 11:19:00 PM said:
how can you say i suck if you dont even know me. sorry for calling you a fag but you didnt even say why it was bad you just sad "this is the worst review i have saw in my life". well tell me why. people that just say its bad piss me off. just tell me why you think it is so bad. kyle davies sucks though i will give you that.

Met drop it. This poster is trying to get a rise out of you. dont give him the pleasure of a response. were talking about flumes and Cement/fiberglass troughs/ Lets tick to the important thins.
metssuck on 5/31/2007 5:02:41 PM said:
well he said i sucked and i dont appreciate him saying that so i want him to apologize like i did for calling him a perverted fag. i dont want to talk about troughs anyways.
thare on 5/31/2007 5:38:34 PM said:
I do! I think the proper trough sometimes makes or breaks a ride.
thare on 5/31/2007 5:43:08 PM said:
Met, like mrceagle said he is just trying to get you mad and he wants a reaction. I think we should get back to what this site is about, reviewing rides.
mrceagle on 6/1/2007 11:39:46 AM said:
Mostly trying to get your mind on anything other then this other poster. Let him say what he wants. chances are he would never talk like that to anyones face. Thee a huge sense of security on the net. But we can find anything better to talk about.
