This is an attraction going in the wrong direction. When JP hit the theater 12 years ago, one of the biggest reason that it was so popular is because it used the latest CGI technology to recreate very movable Dinos instead of using machnics since its too fake. Obviously this ride is at a lower tech level than the movie. Those Dinos cannot capture the feeling of film. The drop is alright, cannot compare to Rapid Fall and really has nothing to do with JP storyline. Discovery center is so much interesting than this ride.

Back up a second... Did you really say the JP Discovery Center was better than this ride? You need to get to a good natural history museum! And the thing about CGI special effects? They dont work in real life.

The ride wasnt created to go along with the same exact storyline as the movie, just a similar one - and it does follow it pretty well. And what are they suppose to use if its not mechanical dinosaurs? Stuffed ones?
