Review of Peter Pans Flight @ Magic Kingdom

This ride is a classic. The suspended cars are great. I love flying over the different scenes rather than just moving past them. I think being up in the air adds an extra element to the ride. The theming is great and the story was short but sweet

I love when you "fly" over the model city on the ground.

The whole ride looks like something I could build in my basement

With enouph time you could. its all standard modling.

So? Does that make it a bad ride?

No it makes it a simple yet fun ride. You dont have to have millions of dollers in Animatronics to have a good ride.

Im the other way around. i havnt been on ET. It is more of a madern dark ride. ET is likly to be consedered better. but Peter pan has more history.

Thats a tough call. Other than both being suspended dark rides, they arent similar at all. I think I would have to choose Peter Pan over it because of the story and history behind it.

Personally I have nothing against the simplicity of the ride, but I think I have had a more enjoyable time looking at a Christmas nativity scene

Then why did you spend all that money to go to Disney?

It is a simple attraction that is a joy to ride. I try to hit this one every time I go to WDW.

I really only enjoy the over the city part, although a couple other spots are nice.

The city is one of the best parts the modle work is great. The rest probubly coud use some updating. since you can see som many effects the Tin foil and Selifain is a bit dated.

I hear you mreagle but how can you update early 20th Century London and Neverland? They are what they are.

I havent been on this in forever, so I really dont remember how the effects look, I just remember the basics

Its allot of Find at home material used for the modles. you could make your oun with enough time and you wouldnt need any special materials exapt the minar animatronic parts.
