Review of Superman the Escape @ Six Flags Magic Mountain

I thought that this ride was O.K... The line was a bit annoying because there was a teenager blabbing about Ashlee Simpson. I ended up letting her go in front of me (little did I know this would be my undoing). We got to the front of the ride and saw the teenager launch off screaming the whole way. While we were about to get on, the air gates for our row jammed up. The stupid operator didnt even notice and launched the train another time. I walked out of the line to tell him about my dilemma, and he yelled at me for going in restricted space! Anyhow... the door opened and I got into the car. A loud booming voice says standby for launch. After that you get launched at maybe 70 mph (its not intense at all) The car managed to go about 3/5 of the way up the tower. There was no airtime. I experienced none. I expected an abrupt dropping sensation, but I got nothing. I think that this ride has really deteriorated. Even worse is that one of the tracks is in disrepair. When we entered the cavern we saw that the entrance to the left was boarded up. I also checked in the station and saw that the left track had rust, and no visible car. A major disappointment

Good review, definately a dissapointment to me too. I myself was suprised about how high up you go, because it looked like you went higher when you were on it (Superman seemed pretty close to me) than you actually did go.
