Review of Haunted House @ Camden Park

Great classic dark ride. This is one of the few gravity powered darkrides left. The stunts were hoaky, but well maintained, but they were all behind cages, which takes away from the effect.

The only other one I can think of is Devils Den at Conneaut Lake Park. Evidentally these are the only two Pretzel gravity rides left.

what do you mean gravity? there was only one hill and it was controlled?

gravity is a force of nature. Sir Issac Newton wrote about a long time ago. In simplistic terms, gravity is what allows the dark ride car to continue rolling once it passes the apex of the hill.

Right. The cars are not powered, they are lifted a few feet up, and then roll along the track through the rest of the ride. It is built in such a way that the car does not lose much speed until it needs to stop.

No, they are completely different rides, from layout to stunts. The only similarity is that they are both built by Pretzel and are gravity powered.
